Arthur looked at her with a calm gaze. His eyes told her that this wasn't the kingdom that she sought after. Her kingdom was her people, not the city.
" But!"
She tried to retort against him. However, she saw the looks of her people. Unlike before she was now respected by her people and they would allow her to be one on the throne.
Hela gritted her teeth as her green eyes burned with flames of hope. She dragged the warriors back to the bridge with a single movement of her hand. As a ruler, she had privileges like controlling Bifrost. Therefore, she mobilized it to send half of the people to Midgard with the last remaining bit of her strength.
Thor was truly by the sudden change of her nature since she was a vicious and ambitious woman who would do everything to gain authority.
" Thor, take half of our people and go!"
Hela shouted while motioning the heroes to go. She decided to stay back with Arthur who was using his power to protect Asgard from the harm
" Why didn't you go with them?!"
Arthur screamed while looking at her with a sharp look. Hela scoffed and hugged him from behind.
Arthur sighed as he slowly put his hands down. He hugged her back and went to their home in Midgard.
Boom*
Asgard was shattered by the sword of the fiery giant. One of the most advanced cities immediately turned into dust before Thor and Loki's eyes.
Thor clenched his pendant while looking at the sonic boom. His look told others that he was lonely because he lost his home.
" Our home is still there."
Heimdall said, patting Thor's shoulder. His bright eyes were filled with light because he saw the hope was still there. The Asgardians lined behind them and showed their respect to Thor and Loki.
Even Korg and Miek showed their respect to them.
In Eden.
Arthur was placed in the big capsule. His face was wrinkled with pain due to his injuries. Hela stood beside him, watching with a serious look. Tyrande observed with a calm attitude because she could feel her divine energy.
" Mother, what happened to father?"
Kyle asked, looking a little worried because he knew Arthur was the strongest person he ever knew.
Tyrande didn't answer him. She knew Arthur probably pushed his limit again since he always tends to do that. Her hands gently caressed his face to soothe his soul.
" How old is your son?"
Hela asked, looking a little jealous. She felt sore for being not able to be born quickly. Although she was a goddess, her birth cycle was longer than normal humans.
" 10000 years old. He has elven blood inside him with divine power."
Tyrande replied with a proud face. Although Natasha and Hill had children, they were too young to be against villains. On the other hand, Kyle possessed immense authority and power in his world and here thanks to Arthur's guidance.
" I heard about your home. I am sorry to hear that."
Tyrande said showing her sympathy because she lost her home too. Her long eyelashes trembled with pain, remembering the memory of her home being destroyed by the force of dark titan.
" Well, this city is your home now. You can live with us or either build a portable space point to another location."
Tyrande explained with a gentle voice that would calm down anyone.
Creak*
The door was opened from the outside as Ghost barged in while holding his gun. His mask was cut in half and he was bleeding.
" Bad news! We are under attack from unknown entities. Steve and Bucky are fighting against them. They attacked Vision in Belgium to take his Infinity stone."
He gnashed his teeth with the pain while reporting the situation to Kyle who was overseeing the European branch.
Kyle immediately took out his sword and motioned him to guide him to the area. His face was calm as Arthur's, but Tyrande could feel his anger.
" Issue yellow level alert and command all forces to be on standby. Father will wake up soon. Mother and Hela will protect the city. Also, notify SHIELD and Round Table."
He issued his command while wearing his helmet.
