Chapter 412 - Chapter 48 Deal

Thor and Loki looked at Arthur at the same time. They grabbed his shoulder.

" You can't. She is too dangerous."

Thor said with worry. He witnessed her power and he managed to get back to his senses. He understood Hela wasn't a ruler of Helheim for no reason. She was a goddess that could them without any problem. She didn't have compassion of Arthur, the mercy of him, and shrewdness of Loki. She would mercilessly kill if she found he or she was an obstacle to her goal.

" I agree with him. You are our last resort. No one would help us except you."

Loki said, looking distressed. He was a villain, so everyone except his family hated him, and that included the heroes too. They would turn him in prison when they got a chance, unlike Arthur who is showing mercy to him.

" Relax, it is not that difficult. She is just lonely. I think she will change her mind."

Arthur said, smiling gently. Although Hela was merciless, she wasn't that evil in Arthur's eyes. Besides, he was strong enough to fight Hela.

" Ah, I missed your voice!"

Suddenly, a hoarse voice came out from the corner. It was Hela. She was standing there, looking at him with a smile that shocked both Thor and Loki.

" Hela, I knew you would recognize me. Could you please show mercy to Asgard? I knew they wronged you, but you have to understand their stance as well."

Arthur explained with a soft voice. However, he didn't know Hela wasn't interested in his involvement, instead, she missed his heart. A kind soul that loved her more than anyone. He didn't hate her or despise her, unlike Asgardians.

" If you say so, I will show mercy to them, but you have to promise me one thing. Accompany me for the rest of your life, only then I will grant your wish."

Hela said while looking at him with hope. Arthur didn't disappoint her as he promised on the spot. He gladly exchanged his hand for the lives of Asgardians.

" I will do as you say, but I won't be your henchman."

Arthur spoke, holding her rotten hand. He raised his eyebrows slightly because it was almost corroded to the bones.

Hela saw his frown and tried to take her hand back, but Arthur didn't let go of her hand. He raised his hand and a soft light enveloped her hand. She felt pain at first, but it slowly receded when her skin grew back.

" Life and death are the 2 sides of the same coin."

Arthur said, not caring about her siblings' bewildered looks. He was feeling good since he could finally fulfill his promise.

" Life and death, huh? It is indeed the truth."

Hela smiled, holding his hand. It was warm and soft. She looked at her brothers and decided to banish them instead of killing them since she promised that.

" I am sorry, Arthur, but you never said anything about banishment."

Hela spoke with an apologetic look as she teleported her shocked brothers way back to the end of the universe. Of course, Arthur was caught off by a sudden move of hers. He helplessly sighed and teleported with her.

" I am sorry, but I knew you can find your way to Asgard. I will try to change her."

Arthur muttered as he faded away. His voice traveled through the universe and reached the ears of Thor.

In Asgard.

Heimdall looked at the bridge with a grim look. He knew who was coming through and he knew couldn't stop her.

" Arthur, you are here. Nice to meet you, your majesty."

Heimdall spoke with a gentle tone as he bowed his proud head. He had to show basic courtesy to the royalty even though they were criminals.

" So, you are the new guard, huh? I guessed I killed all of Valkeries except for her. At least there are some decent gods around here."

She commented, looking at him with an approving look. Arthur coughed and signaled her to be less rude. He smiled.

" Heimdall, how is your wife doing? I heard you will be parents soon."

Arthur asked with a gentle expression. Heimdall looked at him with a soft look because he reminded him of the late queen who used to exclude charm like him.

" Yes, we are having a son soon."

Heimdall said, grinning from bottom of his heart.

Arthur gestured for Hela to walk to Asgard. Hela snorted and followed him.

" By the way, when are we having our heir?"

Hela said while looking at her former home which wasn't that changed much.
