Chapter 375 - Chapter 15 To the new world

A week later.

Arthur was standing before the portal. Natasha walked behind him and said unhappily.

" You are so hard headed. Your children will be born soon yet you still go to the other worlds."

Arthur scratched his head and said with an apologitic look.

" Nat, you know I have to go. My guts are telling that this world will be more chaotic in the future. I must assure our family and our people's safety."

Hill sighed.

" Let him go. We know he will come back with a victory like he always does."

Tyrande nodded.

" Yes, I agree with her. Arthur, be careful and be mindful about your situation. You tend to be too careless sometimes."

Arthur laughed.

" Roger. Then I am off."

He walked to the portal and disappeared from their sight. Natasha groaned.

" I hope he would be alright."

Hill smiled.

" It will be fine. Besides, you have hid the problem, haven't you?"

Natasha's face turned serious.

" Yes. We will deal with Red House by ourselves. Arthur doesn't need to carry more burdens."

Tyrande silently gazed at them and said calmly.

" I have heard they got a master. Shall I assist you?"

Natasha shook her head.

" No need. Anthony will be the one to handle him because he said he had a similar power like him."

Hill folded her arms.

" Another Taskmaster, huh?"

Natasha nodded.

" Yes and I think we might have a few good recruits soon."

Tyrande turned around and left.

" Then leave their training to me. I have been free lately."

Hill smiled.

" Sure."

In the new world.

Arthur opened his eyes and surveyed around him. He was in a forest with a strange look.

He sighed and snapped his finger.

Snap*

Nothing came out. Arthur's eyes opened wide as he tried to use his power.

" Gone? Has my power been sealed?"

Arthur couldn't talk to guide after the time stone incident. So, that means he had no ways to know about the world or the mission.

" Another world with a normal human body, huh?!"

Arthur carefully looked around him and watched the sky. He noted the location mentally and followed his instincts.

Flow*

Soon, he found a stream near the woods. Arthur looked down the stream and found it was flowing really far.

" Nice, that means I can find a way."

3 hours later.

Arthur found his way out the forest. He saw an old track as he walked towards it.

Beep*

Fortunately, it was relatively popular road. A military vehicle found Arthur and signaled him.

Arthur quickly ran to them and hopped on it. He found this vehicle was similar to the 1970s jeep.

A sergeant was driving the jeep as he waved to him.

" Hi, what are you doing here? Hiking?"

Arthur coughed and lied.

" Well, I lost my gears because some bears chased after me."

Sergeant looked at Arthur with a shocked look because it was hard to believe someone would escape from hungry bears.

" Man, are you serious? Bears can run upto 60 km per hour. They can outrun you."

Arthur smiled and explained.

" You see I am an experienced hiker."

Sergeant nodded as he didn't pry further.

" Then you must be thirsty. Here, drink this. You see I am going to my camp. I can drop off you there. By the way, my name is John Doe."

Arthur extended his hand.

" Arthur Frost from New York."

John shook his hand and nodded.

" You are from New York, huh?"

Arthur didn't show any hesitation as he said lightly.

" Yep, from Manhattan."

John smiled.

" Man, you must really love hiking because it is near to Mount Shasta."

Arthur chuckled and said nothing. He understood that he was in California.

1 hour later.

John dropped Arthur off to his campsite. He walked with him to the airport.

" Man, you have to call me after going your home. It was pretty fun to be with you. Honestly, I enjoyed last hour."

Arthur also liked him because he was open minded and cheerful guy.

" Sure, I will call you."

They hugged each other and Arthur boarded the plane. The pilot understood Arthur's circumstances as he didn't request his ID card.

" We will be at Sacramento after 2 hours. Buckle your belt."
