Arthur woke up from his slumber. He pulled down his blanket and wore his slippers. He went to his toilet to wash his face.
" You woke up?"
Arthur looked back and saw Artoria. She was washing her teeth as well. Arthur nodded.
" Yeah, I had a rough time."
Artoria spit out the paste and wiped her mouth.
" You always have one. Jean was worried about you and Mordred nagged me. Even Qin tried to get immortality water from China."
Arthur sighed.
" Ah, I should be careful next time. Where are Merlin and Gil? I don't see George too."
She yawned.
" They have gone out with Tesla. By the way, Musashi is waiting for you. She is still adamant about being your guard."
Arthur shrugged his shoulders and went down with her. He saw her one hair was swinging wildly. He thought it was very cute.
Step*
Alfred was standing in there as always. He said calmly.
" Good morning, sir. Miss Elizabeth dropped here yesterday with her brother. The round table seemed to be concerned about you. Also, miss Nyssa called yesterday. She said you had to call her."
Arthur nodded.
" Good work like always. What is for today's breakfast?"
Alfred bowed.
" A nice toast with butter and delicious cheesecake with our finest black tea."
Arthur smiled and he saw Musashi. That girl was kneeling on the floor with a stoic expression. She saw Arthur and said lightly.
" Master, it is rude to eat with your guard. Allow me to stay here."
Arthur sighed and said helplessly.
" Musashi, it has been a long time since we last saw each other. Please forget about this annoying etiquette and eat with us. Look at Artoria. She is stuffing down it already."
Musashi bowed and said politely.
" As you bid."
Arthur pulled out his device and turned on the TV. The news was broadcasting about an unidentified figures in the downtown of New York.
Arthur sighed.
" Oh boy, I might need a little hand for now."
Suddenly, a voice rang inside his head.
" Hello, Mr.Frost."
Arthur remembered this tone. He answered calmly.
" Hello, Charles. I assume you are hiding yourselves."
Charles chuckled.
" Indeed. Fortunately, we have integrated with our version in this world. However, there is a big problem."
Arthur ate his cheesecake.
" X-genes."
Charles affirmed.
" That is right. There will be more mutants around this world and I think that will become a burden to you. Hence, I have a proposal."
Arthur sipped his tea.
" Continue."
Charles smiled.
" I would like to create a cooperation between us. "
Arthur thought for a moment.
" Actually, I like this idea. So when you and Eric will meet me?"
Charles grinned awkwardly.
" About that. Eric wouldn't meet you because he is your enemy."
Arthur raised his eyebrows and said calmly.
" What do you mean that?"
Charles explained the situation to Arthur. Arthur frowned as he thought about the possibilities.
" Charles, I will set the meeting date and place."
Charles nodded and ended his telepathy. Arthur sighed.
" Star, search about Sentinels, William Stryker and mutants."
Star showed the results and Arthur rubbed his temple. He noticed that past has been changed slightly.
" Artoria, Musashi."
Artoria wiped her mouth and said lightly.
" Where are we going?"
Arthur folded his arms and said coldly.
" To the USA. We will meet our new allies."
Musashi calmly picked up her katana.
" Thanks for the food."
Arthur complained about his rest days in his mind. He was again felt depressed about he was being too busy.
Meanwhile.
The council received Arthur's news and his message.
Black bolt typed.
" This is dangerous. Mutants are threat to both inhumans and humans. We can't leave them without any observation."
Nyssa nodded.
" I agree. Our people have spotted a few and clashed with them too. Their powers are too weird and unpredictable."
Steve didn't agree with them.
" No, they are still living beings like us."
Natasha nodded.
" I agree with him. Although they are dangerous, they can be monitored. Most of them have no reason to harm our society as they didn't attack us openly until this day. Let's be honest here. Even Arthur has no guarantee against their strongest forces. We all saw what they did. They single handedly held two worlds from colliding."
