Chapter 348 - Chapter 244 To Bilgewater

Arthur smiled and nodded to her. He looked at Irelia and said lightly.

" Do you have any hideout?"

Ahri hesitated a little bit. Honestly, she didn't have any hideout or secret base. She wasn't sure to kill the assassins.

" No, I don't have any means."

Arthur touched his chin and pondered slightly. He knew he could stop the chasers and save them, but he wasn't sure that they would stop their pursuit.

" Hmm, let me think. I think that going with me is the best idea for both of us. I can protect you and give a shelter."

Ahri looked at him with astonishment. She couldn't guess his mind. She wasn't sure that it was kindness or evilness, but she decided to gamble. She knew she can buy time for Irelia to escape.

" Alright, I will go with you. Where will we go?"

Arthur smiled deeply. He snapped his finger and the space around Irelia condensed. He carefully held her and said calmly.

" Bilgewater. A land of mercenaries. You can escape from the pursuit if you hide there for a while."

Ahri nodded with agreement. She could tell Arthur wasn't lying. He was telling truth to herself.

" I trust you. When will we leave?"

Arthur looked at her and said seriously.

" Now. There isn't much time for you. Besides, I can feel chaos in you. You must be seeking an answer for that."

Arthur's eyes were slightly gold colored. He was seeing her soul.

" You are right, but how did you know?"

Arthur placed his finger on his lips and he said mischievously.

" A secret. You have to find it by yourself."

Ahri sighed and put on her robe. She looked at her home and closed her door.

Arthur asked with a polite tone.

" It seems you cherish this house well."

Ahri clenched the key hard and said sadly.

" It was my lover's home. He built this for me."

Arthur noticed her sadness as she tried to hide it. He patted her head and said gently.

" We born and we die. That is the law. Whether he died by accident or not, I think he would wish for your best."

Ahri nodded and locked the door. He grinned.

" Let's go. We have a long journey to go."

In the ship.

Zoe looked at Ahri with curiosity. She asked.

" Why do you have tails and ears like that?"

Ahri smiled gently and said lightly.

" Because I am a Vastayan. We all have racial looks like this."

Zoe tilted her head.

" Is that so? I thought they were birds because I saw birdmen."

Ahri explained patiently.

" Yes, because they are common. In fact, there are many tribes. My tribe is a little bit special."

Zoe asked with curiosity.

" What is your special trait then?"

Diana came behind them and said calmly.

" Because they are almost extinct. I never thought I would see the nine tailed fox."

Ahri looked at her and said with a sigh.

" Yes, you are right. I don't know about my tribesmen at all and I can't control my power. That is why I am searching for them."

Diana looked at her with pity.

" I know your pain. A lonely figure in the shadow. I have experienced this by myself. I am still looking for them."

Ahri looked at her silver hair and guessed her identity.

" You must be from Lunaria. Indeed, you are right.

But you still hope and I don't have it."

Laughter*

" That is why you have to believe in yourself. If you can't do it, nobody can do it. That is my motto. I never gave up myself."

Arthur was walking with Vision and Wanda. They were looking at Ahri with amusement.

Ahri observed Vision and Wanda carefully. She felt threat from them so much that she almost gave up.

" You! What are you?"

Vision noticed her wariness. He chuckled.

" Don't worry, we meant no harm."

Wanda also chuckled. She said with a smile.

" Master, is she your new friend? You always manage to have new girl friends."

Arthur rolled his eyes and said with annoyance.

" Do I look like Tony? I am not a playboy like him."

Wanda said with an unbelieving look.

" Is that so? Then, that is my imagination."
