Chapter 333 - Chapter 232 Viktor

Vi smiled, but her intuition was telling it was the truth. Vi carefully examined the way as she walked through the streets. Caitlyn asked.

" Why are you being this careful? Usually you don't care about this."

Vi smiled wryly and said with a helpless tone.

" Well, I accidentally have a feud with one of the bosses. Although l don't worry about him, he will definitely try to tidy up me and your friends don't look a normal trouble makers."

Caitlyn beckoned her to be silent. She looked at the trio and saw their expressions. Arthur was looking around him with vigilance, Vision was scanning his surroundings while Zoe was fooling around. They didn't have a slight worry in their faces.

" You might be right this time."

1 hour later

Finally, they reached the area without any problems except for Zoe's constant nagging. Arthur looked at the old building and said lightly.

" Is this his home? This doesn't look like a good place to live."

Vi sighed and said seriously.

" Don't tell that to the others. They respect him as their leader and his core isn't that bad."

Vi also regarded him highly because among the people she had met, he was the only person truly moved for his hometown.

The people were looking at them curiosity. Vision noticed their unusual parts of bodies. He said calmly.

" They all have prosthetic limbs or parts. It is even more perfect than the general earth items."

Arthur nodded. He smiled brightly.

" You are right. It is indeed worth to visit here. Perhaps, he can be a very valuable scientist if we can recruit him."

Vision nodded and waved at the people. The people didn't have any hostility as they waved back. Unlike general people, they were brimming with energy and hope.

Arthur asked.

" Why did he came down here if he was this kind? He should be valued by the council of your city, right?"

Vi snorted coldly when she heard this.

" They were blind. Even his friend betrayed him."

Caitlyn sighed sadly when she heard this. She blamed herself for being powerlessness in that situation.

Creak*

They opened the door and walked through the hall. The guards looked at them and said lightly.

" Long time no see, enforcers. Are you here to arrest our leader again?"

Vi shook her head. She raised her arms and said with indifference.

" Not this time. We are here to ask a few questions about the recent explosion?"

The guards clicked their tongues. However, a calm voice came through the door.

" Let them in."

The guards bowed and let them go through the door. This was the first meeting between legendary mechanics in the guardian alliance historically.

Arthur saw a man with iron mask and black hair. He saw his cold eyes and body filled with mechanic parts.

Vi grabbed the chair and sat down. She looked at Arthur and Viktor silently. As for Caitlyn, she stood there with a nervous look.

Viktor said calmly.

" Who are you? You aren't a human and you aren't a machine either."

Arthur laughed. His eyes were on Viktor.

" You aren't a human either, no you changed yourself. What a fascinating technology!"

Viktor placed his arms on the table. He gazed deeply at Vision and Zoe.

" Aren't you afraid of me? I am a monster after all."

Arthur shook his head. He really didn't care about this because he can feel Viktor's morality through his cold body and soul.

" Why would I? You are a kind soul who helps other."

Viktor tilted his head with confusion. This was the first time, he heard someone call him except for his friends and fellow Zaunian.

" You must heard my story through their mouths, right? I am a madman."

Arthur shook his head. His eyes were clear like his heart.

" No, what you believe is right. Humans must evolve and adapt. That is how we survived through the history. Whether we are machine or flesh, as long as we have our heart. That makes us humans. You won't be changed even you replace your body with cold metal."

This statement shocked Vi and Caitlyn. Viktor looked at him deeply.

" Even my teacher denied my efforts, yet you understand my heart. How ironic!"
