The lord was looking at the experiment with a blank look because he couldn't believe in his eyes. The experiment didn't move at all. It was completely dead. He asked with suspicion.
" Are you confident that you have extracted their blood?"
The scientist nodded. He was puzzled by the result.
" I am pretty certain."
The vampires didn't understand their words at all. All they know was that the experiment had failed.
Clap, clap*
The sudden clap awoke them from their thoughts. They saw a hooded figure in the dark. It was Nomak. He was grinning.
The lord's face was paled. He pointed at him and said with fear.
" Why are you here?"
Nomak laughed. He sniffed the air with pleasure.
" Ah father, I feel your fear. It is so tasty."
The lord's pupils shrunk. He shouted.
" Kill him for me."
Nomak's face darkened. He said seriously.
" Father, I gave you a chance. Pity, you are a fool."
Nomak snapped his finger and his army rushed towards the vampires. The lord immediately retreated to the helicopter, which he prepared for the emergency. Nomak laughed loudly.
" Father, you will die tonight. I will let you run first."
The lord didn't hear his nonsense. He was running to the helicopter hastily.
In the corridor.
Arthur was holding his dagger. He was throwing it in the air. Blade was sleeping. He was tired from the fighting. Nyssa was nervous. She said with anxiety.
" Are you certain?"
Arthur smiled. He already calculated the odds.
" Of course. Your father is a coward. He will absolutely choose this path. Believe me, he is an idiot."
Somehow Nyssa felt insulted. She looked at the corridor with hope that's not true, but the reality disappointed her. The lord came out with his bodyguards. Nyssa facepalmed herself. She whispered.
" I hope I inherited my brain from my mother."
Arthur smiled. He said with a teasing look.
" You are a cell of his certain parts, you know."
Nyssa's face turned red. She shouted.
" Father, why are you escaping?"
The lord looked at them with shock. He never thought they would be free. He squeezed out a smile.
" My daughter and sirs, let's escape. We are under attack."

Arthur laughed out loud. Blade who was next to him, was trembling. Nyssa's expression turned into an embarrassed look. She said lightly.
" Father, are you an idiot? Do you think as animals?"
The lord acted like he was innocent. He said with a bright look.
" My daughter, it was all their fault. Thankfully, god punished them for their sins. As for two lords, I can give you an explanation and compensation."
Blade couldn't take it anymore. His eyes were filled with indifference. He decided to end this shameless guy's life. Nyssa cursed.
" Old fogey, you have gone senile. You decided to deceive me."
The lord's face was darkened. He snorted.
" So what? As long as I can escape, nobody will stop me."
Step, step*
Nomak came out with bloody mouth. He sneered at his remark.
" You are a foolish man, father. The council will hunt you down with heroes of humanity. You will be a fish that is ready to be chopped."
The lord's body trembled with fear. Nomak slowly walked towards him. The bodyguards couldn't move at all because Arthur used coercion on them. Finally, Nomak stood before the lord. His eyes showed his excitement and hesitation. He loved him as a father in his life, but he used him as a scapegoat.
The lord pleaded mercy.
" Please, you are my son."
Nomak's eyes turned cold gradually. He said calmly.
" Not anymore."

He bit the lord's neck and absorbed his power. The lord groaned with pain. He tried to struggle, but his body wasn't responding.
Thud*
Nomak threw the lord's lifeless body. Nyssa watched him with a complicated look. She wanted to suicide. However, her new reason was preventing it from happening. Nomak looked at Blade with a serious look.
" Blade, I want to fight against you for the last time. Would you grant it?"
Blade looked at Arthur. Arthur nodded. He pointed his sword towards Nomak and said lightly.
" I won't show any mercy."
Nomak smiled brightly. He was delighted to see his end.
" Of course, that is my wish."
