Chapter 75 - Better?
In the kitchen, Avery can be seen preparing food. He had just finished taking a cold bath and calmed down his arousal.
As he was cooking, Yue slowly went out of her room after taking care of the problem with the program she planted in the forum.
She saw Avery in the kitchen and slowly made her way to the dining table. She slowly pulled the chair hoping not to alert her big brother. However, that seemed to be for naught as it made noise anyway.
Hearing the sound, Avery turned his head towards the source, only to see her little sister looking at him. The siblings made eye contact and remembered the deeds that they did inside the bedroom. Their face heated up as they quickly averted their eyes.
"L-Litte Yue. You're here? Were you able to resolve that problem in the forum?" Wanting to get out of this embarrassing situation, Avery quickly diverted the atmosphere by asking about the problem in the forum.
"O-Oh?... Ah! That! Yes. I was able to fix the problem. The admin noticed something wrong in the forum and tried to scan for it. Luckily, I was able to arrive on time to hide the program."
"..." Silence befell them again as they tried to calm their beating hearts.
The sound of the food fizzling as it was being cooked resounded in the room.
Not wanting things to be awkward, Yue decided to give her insights about the situation in the forum.
"Oh... B-big brother, I think that the program won't last forever. Rich families know that the world will end, so they are investing their funds into the forum. The security will get stronger and stronger as time passes. Even with my skills, it would start getting harder to influence the forum later on. Especially if the military and private sectors joined forces to create an impenetrable security in the forum." Yue said awkwardly at first before eventually getting a hold of herself.
Avery sighed as he also knew that he can't control it forever. "You're right, but we should take advantage of this period when it is not yet strong enough. By the way, were you able to stop the news about NPC cities from spreading?"
"Of course! It's me your talking about big brother!" Yue spoke proudly before here tone started to quickly deflate. "Though I think I won't be able to stop it forever, people would eventually find it on their own plus if they talk physically in real life then I won't have a way to stop them from speaking."
"Little Yue, you don't have to be sad about that matter. The fact that you can do it is already enough to be proud of." Avery comforted her.
"But…" Yue tried to argue.
"Let me ask you something. How difficult was it to influence the forum now?" Avery asked her.
"....quite easy." Yue wondered what her big brother was on about but eventually decided to go along with him.
"See? The fact that you find it easy when experts currently find the forum security difficult to bypass is already quite something." Avery spoke honestly as his voice had a hint of proudness for her.
Yue was about to rebut before realizing what he said was true, so she decided to let it go and simply smiled at her big brother.
"Thank you, big brother." Yue thanked him.
"Oh yeah, how long do you think you will be able to keep the information from being common knowledge?"
"Hmm… though I won't be able to stop other people finding it out, I can still stop the knowledge from blowing up into becoming common knowledge. If I have to estimate I'll have to say around 3-4 months." Yue answered.
"4 months… that's perfect. If we do it right, we should be able to capture tons of territory within that time. Hmm though those powerful families… are bound to notice later on. People would start coordinating, and the rich are going to hire them with money. They won't even hesitate since the world is bound to end anyway and money would be useless."
"Yes, and those four families that ruined our family…." Yue clenched her fist at the thought of them.
"You don't have to worry about them, Little Yue." Avery said calmly.
Hearing his calm tone, Yue looked a bit surprised that he wasn't angry at those families that ruined theirs. She quickly looked at her big brother only to see a sharp glint in his eyes as he focused on cooking the food.
Avery was in fact also angry at them, he had already achieved his revenge in the last timeline, but now they are alive once again.
He can't help but decide whether to be sad that they are alive or be happy with the fact that he gets to make them suffer more than their previous counterparts.
"We'll make them suffer right, big brother?" Yue asked in confirmation.
"…Definitely. We'll make them suffer," Avery said dangerously.
His response and tone this time calmed Yue down. She was worried, thinking that her big brother might not have wanted to pursue them, but it seemed that he was thinking of making them suffer all along.
"So don't worry ok? I have a plan for them. We just need to move the pieces and wait for the right time before executing them." Avery finished cooking and turned around to give Yue a reassuring smile.
"Alright big brother." Yue returned the smile that told him she was excited for whatever pain they would do to those four families.
After preparing the food on the table, the siblings then proceeded to eat as they happily chatted about trivial things.

In the living room, Avery and Yue were relaxedly sitting down together on the couch.
"Haa… Big brother! That food was delicious!" Yue happily said in satisfaction.
"You like it?" Avery asked in doubt since he never really considered himself a great cook, no one really tasted his cooking in the past timeline, so he had no idea what others thought of his food.
"Yup! I loved it!" She exclaimed as she leaned a bit closer to him while looking directly into his eyes. Her eyes showed him the sincerity of her words.
"Haha, I am glad you love it," Avery said happily. "But you know what tastes better?"
"Hmm?" Yue thought of an answer as she tilted her head slightly to the right. "What big brother?"
Avery then brought his hands to her face as he traced the outline of her bottom lips with his thumb. "This of course. The feeling of your lips when we kissed was definitely much more delicious than anything."
"W-Wha?" Caught off guard by the sudden flirt of her big brother, Yue's face quickly heated up as she averted her eyes from him due to embarrassment. "B-big brother! Were talking about food!"
"Eh? But you feel the same right?" Avery prodded for more as he continued to embarrass her.
"..." Yue remained silent, but the blush plastered on her face intensified.
"Right, my dear little sister?" Avery asked as he thoroughly enjoyed her shy self.
"..."
"Oh… does my cute little sister not share the same sentiments? You hurt my feeling little Yue." Avery sadly said as he moved his hands away.
Hearing his tone, Yue quickly panics before saying her honest thoughts. "No no! I do love kissing big brother! In fact, it was the best. The feeling of big brother's lips and the way you move your tongue! I love it all!"
"...Hahaha." A joyous laugh was then heard as Yue quickly lifted her head up only to see her big brother laughing.
She quickly realized that she was tricked into speaking her honest thoughts. Her face heated up as she quickly tackled Avery from the waist, pushing him down the couch.
"Hahaha. Little Yue, I did not know that you enjoyed it that much!" Avery continued teasing her.
"B-big brother! Stop teasing me!" Yue said as she buried her face into his chest while lightly punching him.
"I can't help it! You are just too cute for me to leave alone!" Avery said while laughing in joy at her sister's embarrassment.
"Big brother!"

After enjoying their time together. The time to go back to the Ascended World has arrived.
Currently, Avery was standing by the bed as he inspected the Crystal of Ascension in his hands.
"What is it, big brother? Is there something wrong with the crystal?" Yue curiously asked as she lay down on the bed.
"No, the crystal is alright. I was just looking at how much longer it would take for it to fully recover."
"Ohh. You did mention something like that before. If I remember right, you said that we would be able to stay inside the Ascended World after the crystal finished recovering its mana."
"Yes. You're right, and from the looks of it, the crystal would be fully recovered in one week. It's good since, by the time the crystal recovered, we would already be moving out to capture the goblin castle." Avery said turning to Yue. "We wouldn't need to worry about interruptions anymore just because we needed to go back here on earth to take care of our body."
"That's good," Yue answered. "Anyway, come lay down here now big brother!"
Avery smiled and simply followed. Yue quickly snuggled up into his chest while giggling happily at the warmth her big brother emitted. Avery then wrapped his hands around her as he gently stroked her back.
After enjoying each other's warmth for a while, the two then activated the crystal before finally entering the Ascended World.
[A/N: I know some are frustrated with the low upload rate, but please do understand that I am quite busy with college. However, I'll try to increase the number of chapters. Hopefully 2-4 chapters per week. Thank you for understanding and have a good day!]
