After checking their current status from the system it was finally time to move.
"Let's go. We still have to check their campsite for anything useful." Avery said as both Yue and Estel nodded.
They then start to walk in the direction of the campsite.
While walking Avery and Yue talked while Estel chimed in once in a while after being asked by Yue.
Estel did not want to get too close as she does not dare to act such a way towards Avery and Yue, who are both considered as the leaders and progenitors of their race.
Even though Estel acted in such a way, Yue would still force her to talk to them. She wanted to get close with her subordinates and wanted to befriend them instead of making their relationship strict and tense.
Avery did not care much, he only cares for his sister. Though if his sister wants him to, then he would gladly oblige if it meant making her happy.
In the past timeline, he was distant from almost everyone and kept his relationship with his people strictly as master and subordinate. He did care for them, but he still kept the distance.
He was too guilty and cannot move on with the death of his sister. It was evident with the way how he prioritize finding ways to truly revive Yue without the use of necromancy.
Other methods were also not enough as it was not considered true revival as most of them would have side effects. He wanted something true without any side effects, but doing that was harder than it seems as evident by the amount of time he spent looking for ways. Even the strongest empire in the past timeline did not have such a method as most of their revival were all half-baked that cannot be considered a true revival. If they did then they would have already revived some members of their royalty.
Now that he came back in time, Avery could not help but reflect on his actions on the past timeline. He has not bothered his subordinates that much, but they were truly loyal and did almost anything he wished for.
'It is sad that I won't be able to see them again, but I am fine with it since I got what I truly desired…'
Avery then looked at his sister talking to Estel.
Avery smiled seeing her talking happily.
'...yes, I have no regrets.'

After walking for a while they finally arrived at the entrance of the goblin campsite.
There they saw proof of the capabilities of goblins. Unlike what was commonly known on Earth, goblins were capable of their own civilization.
They saw a used campfire at the center and tents in the process of being deconstructed since they were about to leave.
Food, pieces of equipment, and other tools were gathered at the side seemingly being prepared for transport, as evident by the cart they were to be loaded into.
"Wow… it seems they really are more than just monsters depicted on Earth" Yue said in amazement.
"Estel, look around for anything useful that we could possibly bring back with us" Avery said.
"Yes, Your Majesty" Estel said and then left to do her task.
"Shall we see what inside the leader's tent Yue?"
"Right! Most of the valuable stuff might be stored there."
Avery and Yue then walked towards the largest tent that is not yet taken down.
Going inside they saw various furniture and other stuff.
At the center, they saw a table with various papers made of animal skin on it.
Yue then walked to it and scanned its contents.
"They could also write?" Yue asked in wonder after looking over the papers gathered.
"Yeah. Hard to believe at first right? Especially with how those goblins acted a while ago."
Avery walked towards Yue to check the contents of the paper.
"Hmm… just a bunch of reports." Avery muttered.
"You could read it, Big Brother?" Yue asked in amazement.
"Not really, I could understand some bits of it and deduced what the sentence meant. I did not really have any extensive interactions with the goblin in the past life, but I did read and studied it a bit for research purposes."
"That's amazing… maybe I could learn some too" Yue said then looked at what seemed to be a book. It was rough and not really in the best condition. She then grabbed it and brought it to Avery to ask what the content was.
"Can you tell me what this book is about, big brother?"
"Hmm… let me see." Avery grabbed the book and scanned through its contents.
"So…"
"Looks like it's somewhat of a journal."
"The journal of the goblin leader you faced, big brother?"
"Yes."
"That's great! It might contain useful information. Does it say anything about his affiliation or the location of villages, castles, and the like?"
"Hmm… let check."
After reading for a while Avery found some useful information.
"Here. It says that the leader came from a goblin castle and was preparing to go back there to report his findings. By the description and experience he stated here… we can say that there are a lot of other goblins stronger than him."
"We don't have much military power to contend to that castle yet. Are they close to our village? That is really worrisome, they might attack us unprepared." Yue said worriedly.
"They are quite a distance from here. It would take a while for them to notice our existence, especially since we destroyed the scouting party that discovered us."
"Would they not notice the missing scouting party?"
"They probably would, especially since stronger goblins tend to think more rationally and are less affected by their instincts. But don't worry, since it would take them a while for another scouting party to discover us, and by the time they did we would already be prepared."
"Ok, big brother."
"Is there anything else mentioned?" Yue added.
"It actually mentioned the kingdom he belonged to, sadly he did not go much in-dept with it. Though I could tell that the kingdom is quite established already."
"Hmm… we really do need to speed up our development. A goblin kingdom being near us is quite a threat to us."
"Right." Avery then closed the tattered journal.
They then looked around for any other valuables that they could use.
"Did you find anything else, Little Yue?"
"No… there is nothing useful here. Though, I did find some coins."
"At least we got some information from the journal."
"Yup! That information would really be valuable in taking the next step for the village."
"Come. Let's regroup with Estel and see if she found anything useful."
