After telling Yue about the factors that influence the grade and frequency of the summoned villagers. Avery wanted to confirm something with the new villagers.
"Prior to your summoning, what can you remember?" Avery asked the male in front of him.
"Forgive me your majesty, but I cannot remember anything aside from my name and some basic information needed for living. Other than that, I also remember that before coming here I was promised that I will have a place to live as long as I follow your majesty."
'Looks like it's the same as last time. They still don't recall anything aside from the basic information needed to live.'
"Alright. Elrand, I want you to record their information and bring them to their accommodation. After settling them down. Send the males to gather some logs using the axes stored in the blacksmith."
"As for the females, send them to gather some fruits and herbs in the nearby forest. Make sure to remind them to not stray too far from the village and that they have to return to the village immediately when danger arises."
"I also want you to supervise them and make sure everything is in order, is that understood Elrand?"
"Yes, your majesty." Elrand accepted with a smile on his face. He really liked how decisive his king is. It almost felt like he had done this countless times before.
"Lindir."
"Your majesty, what can I do for you?" Lindir asked.
"I want you to enchant some of the equipment we have, then continue to familiarize yourself with the things I taught you a while ago."
"Yes, your majesty."
After giving his orders, Avery and Yue along with their two generals, Lia and Estel, went to the blacksmith to get the finished arrows from Haldir.
At the blacksmith they saw Hildir crafting a wooden arrow. Beside him is a stack of wooden arrows.
At the sound of the footsteps, Hildir stopped whatever he was doing and looked up. Seeing Avery and Yue. He stood up and greeted them.
"Welcome, your majesty."
"Sorry for the intrusion, I simply want to receive the finished arrows before giving some orders."
"There's no need to apologize to this servant, your majesty!"
"No need for that. Anyway, is there still some bow inside?"
"Yes, your majesty. We still have a couple of bows left inside. Would you like me to acquire one for you, your majesty?"
"I'd appreciate that."
After hearing the confirmation. Haldir then went to the storage area to get a bow for Avery.
"What do you need a bow for, Big brother?"
"Hmm, I want to do some hunting so we could have some meat for the new villagers. We could also save some of our reserves if I hunt for food."
"Can I come?" Yue asked in a cute tone.
"..."
"Pleassseee?" Asked Yue with big round purple eyes.
Seeing her cute expression. Avery of course wouldn't have the heart to reject her request. Plus he could also teach her some things if she comes with him. "Fine." Agreed, Avery.
"Yay!" Exclaimed Yue in excitement.
Yue then glanced at the two generals. 'Hmm… It would be nice if only big brother and I would go. It could even be a d-date...' Thinking of that, her face flushed a little.
"Your majesty, please let me do the hunting. there's no need for your majesty to do some menial work." Estel disagreed, and although Lia did not say anything, her face still says that she agreed with Estel.
"No. We'll hunt by ourselves. The village and the people who are gathering some resources need someone to watch over them. We don't want any sudden incident happening in the village due to some wild animal or possibly some enemies.",'Plus it's a great opportunity to spend some more alone time with my cute little sister.' Avery disagreed while thinking of the last part.
Upon hearing those words, Yue's eyes lit up in expectation. She wanted some alone time with her Big brother.
"But.." Lia was about to speak but was interrupted by Avery, probably knowing that she would ask him to bring her along with them so that she could make sure no danger was placed upon them. He of course would not want a third wheel on this mini date with his sister.
"No. It's my final decision. Plus, I know how to fight and if things go worse. I am confident in my ability to escape danger along with my sister."
After hearing the confirmation of his Big brother, Yue's face was instantly filled with happiness. 'Yay! I get to have Big brother all for myself.'
Moments later Haldir arrived with a bow in hand. "Here, your majesty"
Avery took the bow and inspected it. 'The quality is fairly good for a free resource, though not comparable to the one my empire in the last timeline has. Overall it's good for some good hunting.' He nodded.
"Thanks."
"No need to thank me, your majesty."
"Anyway, I want you to continue making some more arrows until the next batch of villagers are summoned. The recently summoned batch of villagers are going to be gathering some building materials. So I want you to oversee and build a school and a couple residential buildings. I'll talk to you tomorrow about the details."
Avery then took half of the recently made wooden arrows while the other half was given to Estel. He then dismissed them and sent them to their work.
"Let's go Big brother!" Yue excitedly called out to Avery.
Seeing her expression warmed Avery's heart and couldn't help but smile. He loved seeing his sister's happy face. He longed and wished for this second chance for hundreds of years, and if this was a dream then he hoped to never wake up from it. As he would rather choose death than be separated from her again.
After finishing his monologue, he then went to her as they slowly walked towards the village entrance.
