Chapter 3 - Did you hear the rumors?

Trim… Trim…

The sound of the alarm clock ringing was quite alarming. Anyone who heard sound would wake up quickly.

A young man lying on the bed raised his arm and turned off the cell phone alarm.

Sunlight illuminates part of the room and shows his sleepy face. The young man looked quite ordinary with his messy hair and drool on his chin.

Looking at the time on his cell phone, he saw that it was already 07 AM.

"Another day of school ..." The young man spoke in a lazy and unwilling tone. He got up and stretched before leaving the room to do the morning's needs.

"Shit… I'm almost late !!! I shouldn't have watched those anime on television!!" The young man complained that he had wasted time looking at anime instead of finishing eating breakfast.

Because of this, he had to run to catch the bus, but he missed it and needed to catch the next bus to go to school.

The trip took about fifteen minutes until he reached the bus stop closest to his school.

"I need to run again !!" The young man ran as fast as possible to the school before the bell rings and he stays out of school.

The street only had adults walking and some young people also running so as not to be late.

After running for a few seconds, the young man was already panting and sweat was falling like a waterfall from his face.

"Being a sedentary person who just sits and plays on the computer is really bad at these times ..." The young man complained about his daily life.

Without doing physical exercises daily, the young man was thin and without any muscle in his body. He just ran a little and looked like he was having a heart attack.

After running a little further, he saw the school gates being closed slowly before his eyes. A despondent face appeared on his face.

"Am I going to be late again ??" The young man asked himself.

"Hey!!! Liu Yang, what are you doing ??? !! Why are you crawling ?? Sorry, I forgot that you are useless when it comes to physical exercise" A cheerful voice echoed behind the young man.

"Li Wei, can you drag me to the entrance? You run faster and have more strength than me" Liu Yang asked his friend without looking back. He knows who owns the voice.

"You know I can't do this. Let's go" Li Wei appeared next to Liu Yang and commented.

Looking at Li Wei, we can see that he was an athletic and energetic young man, unlike his almost dead friend on the side. He was tall and handsome with some muscles in his body. For a sixteen-year-old boy, his height was just above average.

"Li Wei, how do you get so much energy and excitement in the morning? The only thing I have is tiredness and discouragement, "Liu Yang commented discouragingly.

Every day, he woke up tired and discouraged.

"Liu Yang, you should exercise to prevent this from happening." Li Wei recommended.

As someone who trains every day and has healthy habits, Li Wei was in better health than Liu Yang.

"I think it is better not to do that. This is too much work and I don't have the energy for it" He commented discouraged. Liu Yang did not like to exercise and because of that, his grades in physical education classes were low.

"The only energies you have are to play games and see naked women on adult sites?" Li Wei jokes. He and Liu Yang were high school students, so it was normal for them to see that kind of thing.

"Let's put this matter aside and move faster" Liu Yang declined to comment on this topic.

The pair continued talking as they walked towards the school's almost closed gates. Fortunately, they managed to get in without needing to hear a scald from the doorman because they were late.

Currently, Liu Yang was fifteen years old and was in the second year of high school. He was one of those young people without a future decided by his parents or by himself. He still didn't have a goal in mind for after high school.

His friend Li Wei had the dream of representing the school in national competitions and the country in international competitions as a runner. Because of his dream, he always trained hard in the mornings after waking up and before returning home.

The two have been friends for a long time, since elementary school. But the two are completely opposite.

Because of this, the classrooms the two attend are different.

The high school where Liu Yang studies had a grading system that ranks students by their grades, the best students stay in the best classrooms and with the best teachers, while the worst students stay with average teachers to try to improve their grades.

One of the exceptions are students who play sports, they can score slightly below the class average, but it cannot be too low. These students have the chance to represent the high school in municipal, national, and international competitions.

No school wants to lose that kind of talent. The government invests a large amount of money in schools that have this type of talent.

Because of this system, Liu Yang was in class D and Li is in class B. The difference between the two classrooms is not very great, but the quality of the teachers was great.

Liu Yang managed to enter the room a minute before class started, he sat in his chair by the window and stared at the clear sky with a discouraged look.

Tong… Tong…

The bell rang and the lesson would begin.

Creak...

The door was opened and a young teacher came in, she was beautiful and quite young, about twenty-two or twenty-three. She appears to be someone who has finished college and started teaching.

Class D was serving as an experience for her.

"Our class today is about geography ..." The teacher started her lesson.

Liu Yang just looked at the clear, bright sky with a weary and dejected look.

...

Sometime later…

Tong… Tong…

The bell rang again.

"Hey Liu Yang, are you almost asleep again?" A male voice was heard from his side.

"Ren Wu, I didn't sleep, I managed to hear what the teacher was saying." Liu Yang answered the question of the young man standing beside him.

Looking at the young man, we can see that he was common as Liu Yang, without any special characteristics. But what caught people's attention was the scar on his neck.

"Liu Yang, let's eat." Ren Wu slapped him on the back and started walking towards the exit.

Liu Yang just stretched in his chair and got up to follow his friend.

The pair went to the cafeteria to buy something to eat before going to the roof.

"Liu Yang, did you hear the rumors that are circulating on the internet?" Ren Wu commented in a serious voice.
