The ape Kingdom.
"What do we do now?"
Ella asked, panting, trying to keep her voice low. She was standing between the Professor and Hulu while the rest of the men were just behind them. They could all hear the gibbering of the apes but none of them was bold enough to enter into the death square. At least not yet.
"It's up to you. We will count on you."
The Professor said to her, tracing his huge eyeballs across her skinny and small face. She looked away from him to the direction of Hulu who smiled at her. For a moment she was tempted to think that Hulu already understood English.
"You must be really joking for saying that. Why should I be the scapegoat?"
She said finally, gawping at the Professor who wasn't looking at her. She loved to think that she knew what the old and wierd man was up to, but she sincerely didn't.
"Nobody is making you a scapegoat. Don't get a wrong message. We just thought it's the right thing to do."
