"Ella, did you hear any noise?"
The Professor called at the indifferent girl, who was just walking away from the base of a tree before they got there. The girl had started walking away as soon as she saw them running by.
Ella stopped suddenly along the path and turned to the two men, pinpointedly picking the Professor in his gaze,
"1/1."
The Professor watched her face melt into a cunny smile as she turned and began to walk away. He looked away from her to the fellow standing beside him. He didn't know what to do with the Ella girl.
Though as hard twas to believe. He had just been fooled by the skinny clodpole. Though he knew he brought it upon himself, but at least, he wished Ella just had some manners and knew when to ignore the urge to revenge. Especially when she was dealing with someone older.
"Fair enough."
