Running.
"Where do we go from here?"
Ella asked, her voice pressured by the confetti of pace regulating her breath. The Professor was behind and the mob was still on them. It's been quite a while since they had been running with no definite idea of what to do next.
"Over here."
The Professor called at her as he cut a corner and allowed the trunk of a big tree hide him. The girl made her quick turn too and almost fell on him.
He grabbed her, but didn't grab the appropriate part. He let go of her as she made her balance. He didn't have the luxury of thinking about the odds.
"What now?"
She whispered? She seemed mature too not to had put that to heart. The both of them kept their heads so lowly as they peeped at the lots as they slackened their paces,
"Where did they go just now. I saw them."
