Princess Claude of Valois. Soon to be queen of France. Daughter of king Henry II of Valois and queen consort Catherine de Medici. Younger sister of Francise II, Charles IX and Henry II of Valois. After all her older brothers died in the war against the muslims, she is the only person who can rule France, but she has to marry a man before she can be crowend to queen of France. Only Claude doesn't want to marry a wealthy, good looking prince who she doesn't know or love.
Prince James Tudor. Soon to be king of England. Son of queen Elizabeth Tudor. James has once in his whole life been to France, when he met Claude and fell in love on first sight. He was only 15, but he would never forget the beauty of princes Claude of Valois. His mother has been looking for suting mariage kandidates for her son, but James couldn't get Claude out of his head. The moment he heared she was looking for a husband, he talked to his mother and a meeting was arranged. He was never been so sure in his life about something, he would marry her.
This story is about how James and Claude go true a lot of difficult situations as a couple. But that's a lot harder when only one of the two actually loves the other. Will James manage to make Claude fall in love with him, or will this whole marriage be a disaster?

This book takes place in a different time. The muslims and christians had a big war going on agains each other. I have nothing against the Islam or christianity. Please keep in mind that this is how the things where back then and I can't change them. To make sure everything in this story accords to the real invents that took place in the time of Claude and James, I have to write bad about the Islam.
