The first thing that popped into his mind was its uses for assassination. A soundlessness attack that swallows enemies Qi and does devastating damage. Although he needs to test, he reckons that it should be able to go through barriers since the attack swallows Qi. That would make his technique deadly at close range even to unsuspecting high ranked people who think they are safe within formations and barriers.
He makes some notes about possible ideas and plans to run some test to see the extent of the damage it can cause. The attack he just did was a full powered attack but only using his Qi, he wants to test its power should he add in his monstrous strength that is now on the level of a rank 3 body refiner.
Checking his Qi reserves he saw that the single attack caused his Qi to go down by 1/16 meaning he can use the technique 16 times before running out of Qi, but he recons that should he take off his restrictors then he could use the skill upwards of 30 to 40 times before being out of QI.
He then looks towards the wall and even though it sounded like it did damage there wasn't even a scratch, but that was within his expectations as the room could even withstand a stage 4 cultivator.
He exited the room and slowly started walking towards his training room making sure to not break the tiles and pull the doors off its hinges. For safety's sake he had to spend most of the morning within his training room adjusting to his new found strength. Before his strength was able to exert around 300 tons of force which was already equal to a low rank 2 body cultivator, and the Qi within his body also being equal to that of a low stage 2 cultivator.
Now his body is able to produce 1500 tons of force, which is multiplied by 200% when he activates the demon dragon blood becoming 3000 tons of strength. Even high rank 2 body cultivators can only exert around 2000, and is only just short of a rank 3 cultivator who can exert 5000 tons of strength.
He increased the level of his seals, increased the Qi levels flowing into the gravity inscription increasing its strength and also had to make plans on the resources needed to reforge some new weights as his current ones are too light. For now, he just used some runes to increase the weight but he prefers to reforge them so that they have a higher base weight and strength to withstand the pressure he puts on them.
He even had to adjust the machines he had replicated from back home and make sure they where durable enough for him to use.
The many hours of sweating buckets and adjusting his mind to his new strength left him with a satisfied smile at the sudden increase of strength and being proud of adjusting so quickly.
Inside the bath he was in to wash away the built up sweat he was thinking about what his plans for today will be.
'I have already checked on the sect so there is no need to check again for a little while. The restaurant seems to also be going smoothly, especially since its just a restaurant and although creates enough money to make the greedy people look at it with envy, its still a restaurant. With the rumours of the traps being spread by my people as well, many of the arrogant young masters are sacred to try to take it over as well. The confirmation from the enslaved young masters and the tales of their adventure with the traps only increased their fear and cautiousness.
The pill business and the adventures guild are the 2 ones that are having the most problems. Within this empire things are going smoothly but the other 2 not so much. Those damn greedy nobles and young masters really think they own the world. Well at least I can use it as a publicity stunt to increase the mysteriousness of the powerhouse behind these buisnesses.
Let's head to the adventurer's guild as that requires the most management and lots of mercenary groups are causing a fuss over the loss of business. Though I feel most of them have a screw lose since they can't understand the simpleness of that they could just register as an adventurer to claim the quests. I should speak to little Caihong before I leave, I'm about to deal with some brain-dead retards. I can already feel I will need a boost from her cuteness before dealing with the brain amorism they are going to cause.'
…
A few hours later he could be seen walking through the capital city's streets heading towards the location that was swarmed by big beefy guys covered in scars and stubble.
Due to having his buisnesses now under him name and them being part of the so called "Hidden Power" he was currently wearing his outing clothes which consisted of his large black cloak with gold swirls on it and a weird black and gold mask.
Taking a look around the surroundings he sees that the area he is in looks to be high end and posh with luscious green trees perfectly shaped, vibrant and calming smelling flowers surrounding those trees. The ground a pearl white coloured marble with luminescent jades in the floor. The most obvious way to tell it's the highest end path is when one takes of their shoes the marble path is warm, which is also preventing the snow which is littered across all the roof tops from settling on the path.
Yet almost like a stain there was masses of dirty men creating a racket with swords and dried blood rubbing off all over the area, making the pearl white floor have drops of both dried and fresh blood and the calm smell from the flowers is overpowered by sweat and alcohol.
He couldn't help but sigh at the scene of the high-end area he spent lots of money to create be stained by the mercenary rabble that are drinking and making noise clamouring for missions at his adventurer's guild. Though he doesn't mind as although they are making a mess, he has hired people from the slums and poor villages clean the streets and tend to the plants. They are also making him an insane amount of money and bringing him just as many resources through the system of buying beast bodies at a permanent set price.
At first the guild became popular due to collecting mercenaries under one roof both providing shelter from powerful people but also proving more opportunities. When the ability to sell beasts at a set price was announced it caused many more to flock. After all a place that would buy a beast's body for a set price it a god send to them, normally they would have to haggle and deal with inflation and deflation depending on demand, causing them to risk their lives for more need beasts.
He pulled out metal pendant that had a black crystal-like slab on it carved with some words. He then walked towards the guild like nothing around him affected him.
Unlike the normal where some arrogant mercenaries would come and cause him trouble due to him looking like he is new and fresh meat they can rule over. Due to the rules, he had imposed such as causing trouble to fellow guild members causing harsh punishment, none dared to be arrogant, publicly at least.
Those who did have those thoughts quickly put them away when he was walking through the doors. The metal pendant on his neck made all of them instantly be quiet as he walked into the building.
The moment he entered what greeted him was a large Viking style building. Unlike the outside that is made of precious marble with hints of gold and other high-end materials. The inside is filled with wood and thatch.
Although even though it was made of wood the cosiness it gave off made it feel like home, like a place they could always go back to. Even then the wood and thatch where by no means rough, all the beams being beautifully carved with dragons, phoenixes, tigers and all manor of creatures.
The people inside the guild where a lot more calmed compared to those outside. The strict rules they put in place caused even the rough adventurers to stay silent and polite while within the building.
The room was packed with most of the people looking towards the giant wooden board that was covered in papers. These where the quests that where available. Some where placed by people who had something that needed done and where willing to pay, while others where requests from the empire or even the guild.
Even though he runs the guild he doesn't know of all the quests that are on offer, especially after spending 2 months away. He walks over towards the board to check out what's available, mostly for amusement and part of it in hopes he comes across the legendary poor family asking for godly herb to save dying beautiful daughter or wife.
He first starts on the weaker end of the very long board, which had barely a few people looking at its contents. These where the non-ranked quests made for normal people or those who are at the early levels of stage 0 in strength. There were many mortal tasks such as cleaning houses, taking horses on walks, feeding animals, help on farms and such things. There where a few hunting tasks but instead of asking for someone to hunt it was a group asking for a porter to carry the loot.
Spatial rings where a rare comedy after all so special bags is the norm for cultivators under stage 3. The guild even sells special bags and special backpacks which are bigger and better than special bags. This caused for a rise for the need of porters to carry the bags as a big backpack would get in the way of them fighting.
Moving on to the next few sections with a maximum of 4 he sees that the difficulty goes up with each one. Section 1 is for mortals and stage 0 people, section 2 is for stage 1 cultivators and equivalent, sections 3 for stage 2, and finally section 4 for stage 3+ cultivators with there being less quests as it goes on.
The final stage only had a dozen quests which are mostly aimed for a group of stage 3 mercenaries with 1 even suggesting having a stage 4 for assistance.
He doesn't bother with grabbing a quest and instead heads towards the pathway of the left wall. Going though the doors he enters another very large room with a similar atheistic to the last. The biggest difference is the smell of alcohol stinking up the room and the loud banging and laughter from the mercenary's drinking away their sorrows or celebrating their victory.
This is the bar part of the guild. At first, he wanted to have a high-end place with marble and gold with it being more refined but when he thought of guilds mostly from isekai's he remembered them being vastly different and wanting to keep the nostalgia feeling he has of them he went for the Viking theme mixed with elegant.
One of his biggest memories of places like this in animes is the bar and the friends the main characters made while drinking after completing a mission. So he separated the rooms allowing for more space for each but also to keep the main area more refined for higher end people looking to place missions or even take one while also allowing a place for the overworked mercenary's to wind down and enjoy their pay day.
Due to it still being mid-day and most of the adventurers being out on missions it was quitter than normal. Wanting to enjoy the feeling of being in a pub again he goes and sits at the bar.
Quickly a beautiful lady dressed in white and brown clothes mimicking the almost peasant clothes worn in animes except more refined, came up to him. "Good day sir, what is it you would like to order?"
"Pint of Snow Kissed Ale please."
"A great choice sir, Snow Kissed Ale is famous in the guild for its crisp taste and constant coldness. Made from rank 1 herbs and brewed using special techniques the ale will never lose its coldness and will always keep its crisp flavour."
She then heads off behind the bar and grabs a glass before going to the pumping station and filling it with his ale.
While she was doing that, a person came walking down the stairs that are in the corner of the room with a restricted access sign in front. The person had bronze coloured skin that rippled with muscles. His face was neatly trimmed leaving a good amount of neat stubble and a bald head.
The moment he came down he instantly started walking towards Fen Chang.
