Ji Fanyin's words were comforting. While Avina wanted to desperately deny her claims, for a moment, she wanted to bask in the warm embrace her words brought.
Avina wanted to believe she was kind. She wanted to believe in the good things Ji Fanyin thought she was. She wanted to believe in Ji Fanyin's words of her kindness and relieve herself of the guilt she was feeling.

Her mind was weary from thinking this way. She was tired from the guilt she placed upon herself though no one had said anything.
