Su Ning and Avina first went into a fabric store. A thousand different textures and colors were inside, all bundled into different bolts.
"Princess," Su Ning called out as she touched a bolt, "This one has a soft feeling and the color is beautiful. Should we buy this one?"
Avina placed a finger to her mouth and hushed Su Ning. "You have to call me Xiao Yinyin. What if someone hears what you're saying?"
They dressed up like this, but it would be useless if in the end, their identities were revealed because of how they address each other.
Su Ning immediately covered her mouth. "Yes, yes, Xiao Yinyin."
Avina turned her attention to the bolt in front of Su Ning. It was a beautiful silk fabric dyed in light purple. She could imagine how many pretty dresses could be made from a single bolt alone.
"Do you need help, lady?" a store worker walked by and asked.
Avina nodded. She pointed at the bolt and asked, "How much for this one?"
