Avina blinked. To her, it sounded like a date, but was it a date? And if so, was she allowed to accept? Could she accept? After all, wasn't she leading on an innocent man if she did?
Rayon realized what he had just said. A faint rosy blush highlighted the apples of his cheeks. He could have immediately denied his words but he didn't.
Avina thought for a moment and let the awkward silence simmer. She hadn't thought about going to the festival. She had planned for the night to not be anything but relaxing. Let Charlise get kidnapped while she enjoyed the show. Charlise's petty revenge today fueled that desire even more.
But since Rayon insisted and a live show was better than watching from afar, she agreed. After all, she wanted some petty revenge of her own.
"Sure," Avina answered. Rayon most likely hadn't expected her reply for his eyes widened. Avina giggled but smile sweetly. "Will you pick me up?"
