Fitzer and Vatoly held nothing back, even under the crowd's cheer. While they argued, Avina and Poppy were stuck in the middle, witnessing the gunfires at close range.
"I'm glad to see you fairing well," Vatoly smiled and said. Rare was it that he smiled, and rare was it to see a genuine one. This was definitely not a genuine smile.
"I'm not," Fitzer threw the reply. He dropped all pleasantries and gave the first shot.
Vatoly wasn't to be outdone. "I see you've been eating well. You've never controlled your diet."
"And you're still a twig."
"Genetics finally got to you, old friend," Vatoly continued. He looked meaningfully at Fitzer's bald head and said, "You're bald just like your father."
Fitzer scoffed. "Not like your mop of grandpa hair is any better."
"And I've never thought you'd get a disciple." It was Fitzer's turn to throw some nasty words. "After all, you weren't known for having a good personality."
