"What's wrong, Melis?" Rayon asked. He walked back to her side and picked up her hand again.
Avina let him do what he wanted and silently let her hand be held. She looked at him and the warm emotions in his eyes. So soft, so tender. She lowered her gaze and slipped her hand out again.
"Just a little tired," Avina whispered. She hid her hands behind her back, preventing Rayon from grabbing them again. "I think I should head back."
Rayon furrowed his brows. He opened his mouth to say something but shut it before he could. He nodded and acquiesced. "Alright. We can always go on walks another day."
Rayon looked away. There was an awkward silence before Rayon left. The only thing surrounding Avina was the sour note he left. As Rayon walked off, Avina stood still, watching his back disappear. It was only when the last dot of his existence disappeared in the crowd that she finally moved.
