The birth of a new ability user strengthened everybody's desire to leave. When the numbers were on their side, who would have second thoughts? After all, it was 2 versus 1, ability user wise.
"Now, you have to let us leave," another stepped forward and said. Just like the woman before, he was shivering in his shoeless feet, but he wasn't willing to back down. "It's us versus you."
"You know what," Charlie snarled. "I don't need trash like you. All you'd do is bring me down."
He cast his arms, slicing through the air like a blade. His eyes held contempt, looking at each one of them, remembering their faces. When he landed on Avina's, he gripped his hands in a fist and gritted his teeth.
