Who knew how long she was passed out for but it was nighttime. Well, to be fair, the Dark Fairies' home was eternally dark, and Avina couldn't see a difference between the two. The only thing that confirmed the time was when she saw Odis with his bunny slippers.
"Don't you know what time it is? You're disturbing this old man's sleep," Odis complained. He combed his beard with one hand while holding a lamp with the other.
The man was wearing a blue nightcap with a matching set of night robes. Peeking from under his robes was a cute pair of pink bunny slippers. Avina contained herself to not tease Odis's slippers. It was cute, but it didn't match his appearance much.
"I have important news," Avina said as she invited herself in.
"What could it be this late?" Odis yawned. "If it isn't about the Dark Gem or the demons, then see me in the morning instead."
Avina was silent. Funny enough, it was about both the Dark Gem and the demons.
