A mechanical voice sounded throughout the space. The white space slowly dissolved into fragments of light revealing a different room. As the room slowly revealed itself to Avina, she noticed her clothes being changed into a gown and hair changing colors. Soon enough, her whole surroundings, as well as her body, were different.

Avina was now wearing a light pink gown decorated with shiny jewels and pearls. Her hair turned into a nearly white blonde with slight bangs hanging from her forehead. Even her height felt different as she seemed to be petite compared to her previous height.

'Welcome to the mission world Host! I will be talking inside your mind from now on, and you can use your thoughts to speak to me as well. Of course, privacy restrictions enable you to have private thoughts, but your most open thoughts will be revealed to me. But do not worry! I won't reveal anything to anyone else regardless of what!'

The voice of 5025 echoed through her head. Avina tested this open thought thing saying in her mind, "Can you hear me?"

'Yes, I can Host! Loud and clear. I will be sending you the information for this mission right now. Please wait and be prepared for a mild headache. It won't last long but may feel uncomfortable,' following 5025's explanation, there was a dull ache in her head. After a few seconds, it disappeared and Avina had a clear understanding of the plot and the memories of Ariel.

The Prince's Wife was a fantasy novel featuring the noble-turned commoner, Jane Mary, and the Prince, George Quince, AKA the mission target. Of course, with every story, there is a villain. That villain so happens to be the body Avina is inhabiting right now, Ariel Devera.

Ariel is the only daughter to one of the four Dukes, Henry Devera. Spoiled by her family - Father, Mother, and Brother - she grew to receive the tender care and gifts of whatever she wanted, including the engagement to Prince George.

According to the novel, on the night of the graduation party, Ariel's misconduct towards the heroine was turned to light. Revealing Ariel's twisted, dark actions to the whole aristocratic world, Prince George nullified the engagement and, instead, got engaged with Jane. Fortunately, unlike other stories, it only ended with a broken engagement and heart, and no beheading or banishment. However, the memories of Ariel proved to be a whole other story.

According to the memories, Ariel did not commit a single deed said by Prince George. In fact, she knew nothing of it; she wasn't even mean but totally sweet! She knew the prince and the heroine were close to one another, but she did not discriminate against a man having friendships with a woman. In the end, she ignored the interactions between the two thinking it was a simple friendship. But the evening of the party she was proven wrong.

Not only did her fiance testify falsely against her, but her engagement was also broken, her family believed the Prince, and no one was on her side. She went home that night crying silently into her pillow with no one to comfort her. Her deep grievances poured out throughout the night and that was when the mission was assigned.

'Didn't you say this was a Villain's Redemption System? Why is she not a villain at all?' Avina caught onto something questioning the existence of the system.

Ariel appeared to not be a villain at all, so there was no redemption needed to be. At most, it is just clever scheming from enemies.

'The mission does not entirely need the person to be a complete villain. As long as the people of the world believing the person to be a villain exceeds the amount required, they are automatically categorized as "villains",' 5025 patiently explained what the word "villain" meant in the system. It also gave various examples of other worlds and their so-called villains.

Avina slowly understood what 5025 was saying, and dived a little deeper into it too. If these villains only needed to exceed an amount needed, isn't that just saying as long as a lot of people believe you to be something, you are that something. Then how many people in my world were misunderstood?

Before her thoughts wandered off further, the door to the room opened.

"Lady Ariel, the Master has requested you to visit his study," a maid opened the door announcing her arrival. She bowed a 90-degree bow before explaining her purpose. Avina confirmed her understanding saying she will see him as soon as possible.

Once the maid closed the dooring bidding farewell to Avina, Avina started to move her body. She soon found out it was difficult to do so.

'My waist feels so cinched.' Taking a deep breath, Avina had only moved a step, but the tightness around her abdomen stopped her. It felt as if her air was being squeezed out of her, and she froze in place.

'It must be the corset Host! Let me adjust it,' with a single sentence, 5025 did its system magic and slowly, Avina felt her corset loosening.

'There! It will feel as if you aren't wearing anything tightening, but to others, it will appear normal. No need to thank this great system!' 5025 bragged of its great accomplishment, proud of its own actions. Its energy really did remind Avina of Bea.

Good. How can this princess not have the right to breathe? Avina took a satisfying, refreshing breath relieved that she had a great system.

After finally freeing herself from the corset, Avina made her way to the study to meet this world's father. If there was anything similar to this world and her world, it was that Ariel and Avina were both spoiled. There was nothing the both of them were not granted and both lived a happy life. Well, of course, as long as the engagement thing was not mentioned.

Hmph! Let's see how this Prince annuls the engagement to the great me!
