Loneliness.
That's what Hinata Asahina feels when his parents leaves to go overseas for work. Hinata's mother was a designer who goes to different countries to find inspirations for new designs. While her husband,who's Hinata's father, works as a CEO that has clients from around the world.
Despite being born in a rich family, Hinata lives in a traditional japanese house.
If you don't know already, Hinata actually means sunny and energetic. But it seems to be the complete opposite of how he feels daily.
"Hinata, me and your father are going now. Stay home and behave while we're gone," is what Mrs. Asahina says everytime her and her husband leaves. The maids will finish the chores and then sit down to chit-chat with the rest of the staff. The butler is always busy. The chef will join the maids in their conversation. Only the gardener will cure Hinata's boredom by teaching him everything he knows about gardening. But it appears that today was a little different...
"I'm sorry Hinata, there is nothing left for me to teach you. And anyways, I will be going back to my hometown and start a new life there with my wife. I hope that what I've taught you these years, you will apply them in your daily lives as well. Goodbye."
And with that, the gardener got in the car,waved goodbye to Hinata and left.
Now Hinata is even more lonelier now. With no one to play or talk with, Hinata began to sit on his bed and sketch daily. He was quite fond of it and sketches anything that comes to his mind.
It was on this faithful day that he has found a new friend and adventures in store for him. It was morning but it was rainy heavily outside already.
"Aww... Guess I can't sketch outside with the big oak tree today."
Oh,I'm sorry,I've completely forgotten to explain about the tree,where everything began. The gardener and Hinata grew that three together and it has became quite big of a tree. It's never shown signs that it's getting old or dying. When it rains, the tree looks beautiful. the light reflects the dewdrops of water that landed on the leaves. The tree looks as thought it has come to live,but no one else except for the gardener and Hinata notices.
10 years ago...
"Do you see the beauty in the tree, Hinata?" "Yes, I do."Hinata replied,"I thought everyone could see it." "Only some could be able to see it,you'll understand when your older."
'You'll understand when your older...' Hinata never forgot what the gardener said. He wanted to know what the gardener meant, he NEEDED to know.
So Hinata immediately rushed towards the big oak tree despite the heavy rain. The staff all shouted at him but Hinata hears nothing, only the sound of raindrops entered Hinata's ear.
Upon reaching the humongous tree, Hinata started panting while placing his right hand on the tree trunk.
Suddenly, Hinata felt a tap on his shoulders from behind.
"Go away!"
"Hm? But I thought you wanted to summon me?"
Hinata froze. He then turned around slowly, his eyes met beautiful electric green eyes.
Hinata thought that it was the most gorgeous things he has ever seen.
