"What's happened to me?" asked Ye Yingsu in a feeble voice.
"You fainted this morning, examined and found to have acute appendicitis. The appendix has been removed now. You're fine now," he replied.
Spotting a man in the ward, Ye Yingsu let out a yelp, "I thought I started menstruation."
As Ye Yingsu attempted to sit up, Gu Qingxin stopped her, "You've just had surgery, you have a wound on your abdomen, you can't move around."
"It's nothing, a small injury like this isn't a big deal to me." Ye Yingsu spoke as she sat up on her own.
Beiming Han watched her in silence, making Ye Yingsu slightly uncomfortable. She shifted her gaze away and asked Gu Qingxin, "Where's Xiao Yi? I haven't seen him in so long, I genuinely miss him."
"He should be in Jade Garden...um...I'll go get Doctor Bai." Sensing that Beiming Han seemed to have something to say to Ye Yingsu, Gu Qingxin turned around and left the room.
