Several hours later.
In the deep mountains outside of Jiang City.
Inside an abandoned dilapidated house, Lingyue and Xiao Shumiao are tied back to back.
Lingyue is the first to wake up in a daze. He looks around bewildered and, with a jolt, suddenly becomes fully alert.
Turning his head, he quietly speaks to Xiao Shumiao who is tied to him, "Xiao Shu, wake up, Xiao Shu..."
Xiao Shumiao wakes up slowly.
Upon realizing he's tied up, he panics, "Brother Xiaoyue..."
Hearing the cry in his voice, Lingyue immediately comforts him, "It's alright, Xiao Shu, don't be afraid. Brother Xiaoyue is here. Brother Xiaoyue will get us out of here, don't be afraid, Xiao Shu."
"Okay, I'm not scared," says Xiao Shumiao, holding back his tears, and then quietly asking, "Brother Xiaoyue, were we kidnapped?"
He remembers going to the washroom with Brother Xiaoyue.
As he was pulling up his trousers, suddenly someone covered his mouth and nose from behind.
