Finally it's the start of Yunxi's training, it's connected to wind and catching balance, Yunxi was not able to make a boomerang catch but she tried and tried all over with Jin by his side
"you throw like a monkey, relax" Yunxi glared at her husband and made a tantrum
"shut up, Im doing my best?" she said and threw it at him, Jin stopped the fan infront of him and threw it back to her
Yunxi was startled and shielded herself with her hands but Jin catched it back with his gravity
"tss, see you can't even catch it right!" Jin shook his head
"why'd you do that!!!"
"playing with fan, you should always be alert my wife, you should catch it even if you are not looking at it" Jin explained
"how do I do that? I don't have eyes behind my head!"
"that's not what I meant- I mean use your senses and the sound that comes to you" Jin walked towards her and showed her how he delicately threw the fan
Jin threw it up in the air where it twirled endlessly like a speeded boomerang and catched it behind his ears when it came back
"whoa!" Yunxi was surprised
"that's what I mean?"
"how?"
"use your sense and hear the sound, be alert and relax your body, command the fan to come at you and know how you catch it in time, like this-" Jin threw it in the air farther away from them, it landed on the bamboo tree and sliced most of it
"wow-"
"now do it!" Fei Jin gave her the fan
Yunxi cleared her throat and threw it in the air, it twirled around but landed somewhere else
"do it again, put your hands in a proper position and connect your energy with the fan's power so it could recognize you as it's owner, once you master it, it will return to your hand safely" Yunxi ran toward the fan and did it all over again, it was never a success and her tries are more than a half a hundred making her temper boil
"how stupid- I quit!!!" Yunxi threw it away for the last time, her hands was indeed in the position and Jin knew she did it, Yunxi walked away but the fan came back in her blind side
"head's down my pretty fairy!" the fan whacked her head making him giggle out of nowhere, Yunxi looked at Jin and to the fan
"I didn't do anything!" Jin pointed on the fan lying on the floor
"it came back!" she smiled and picked it up again
"do it again- I told you don't quit?" Jin smiled, Yunxi did it and positioned her hands right, it twirled to the thin air but barely made it towards Yunxi, she assumed she did not properly held it and happily picked it up again before she did it over and over, Yunxi was exited playing with the weapon, and her being hit by it was not a problem at all, all she thought was she did it and now know how to properly hold them
"careful alright, just keep practicing how to catch it before I teach you how to connect with it's power
Yuan is doing her best in carrying woods and taking it to the hill where she gathers them in a wood house, she's been gathering them all day, coming up and down, she's full of sweat but has a tiny spirit, Yi Ce has been watching her all day giggling in her mistakes and tiny mumbles, Yi Ce is tasked to look after her and train the little fairy, she's just around her age which is 17, Yuan is really chubby but has pretty blushes over her face, and other female monks even envy her and admire her cuteness
Yi Ce in the other hand is a muscular figured monk with a long pony hair and pretty dark eyes, he's not quite tall but is normally in his manly height, he likes to climb and see off his enemies, he specialize spears and good in hand to hand combat that's why he is considered as one of Shao Qi's best man
"alright Yuan, come and have a rest!!" Yi Ce said holding a box of food with him
"is it time for me to rest, is the task done, it's almost dark I have to prepare for my lady!" she complained and walked towards the man
"haha, it sure is done come and eat with me I have the healthiest veggie you could ever eat!!" Yi Ce opened the box containing green colored food
"all meat and veggies, no petal!" she mumbled in disappointment
"eh, Miss Fairy you eat petal?"
"what do you expect I'm a fairy we eat flower petals!" Yi Ce giggled and stand up
"stay here?"
Yuan looked at the green veggies that attracted her stomach, even though she did not like much veggie and rely on petal's sweet taste she dug some of it and ate all of them
"wow, this taste great except that it's bitter!!" she said
Yi Ce came back with two pink peonies and put them next to Yuan
"you ate all the food" he laughed
"peonies!" Yuan picked up the other one and pulled two petals and put them in her mouth
"so sweet!" she sip it inside her mouth and enjoy the sweet taste
"sweet- does it taste sweet miss fairy?" Yi Ce asked and picked a petal
"it's not!" he made a face but still swallowed it
"that's weird, I guess fairy's taste and human taste are different" Yuan smiled
"your right, by the way you will gather fruits with me at the mountain to exercise yourself, I'll show place you never saw?" Yuan was exited and proudly nod her head
"I would love too!" she said and ate the remaining petals
Yuan walked back to her lady's mansion and explored the area, every mansion is on mountains to mountains so it's difficult to find her lady, Yuan is out of energy but she has the strength to fly above since she is lost
her pretty light blue wings is elegant and glowing through the darkening skies, everyone who saw her was beautified and admired her even if she is chubby, Yuan flew towards her mansion and fell down on a weak knees, Yunxi is waiting outside playing with her fan and saw her beloved Yuan on the floor
"ah, Yuan what did they do to you!!" she ran to her and picked her up
"I'm okay my lady Im just out of strength to get up!!" she said, the two flower petals is not enough to help her energy increase and she needs lots of rest
"Yuan Come, I'll take you to your room and rest!!"
"thank you Gōngzhu"
Yuan settled down on her bed while Yunxi went to the kitchen to get some water, when she returned she was drooling and had her mouth wide open
"Yuan, are you-" she giggled
"you did not even take a bath" she pat her in the head and put the water on her side table
"you must be tired are you, you lil chubby girl!" Yunxi hummed a song beside Yuan to heal her muscles that are numbed, it was a slight heal for Yuan, and as she examine her energy, it's quite healthy and improving
"looks like your adrenaline is way better now" Yunxi went out and asked another maid to make her food when she wakes up
"prepare some biscuit and put it in her table, I'm sure she will wake up from hunger!!" Yunxi said before she went out
Yunxi went out and saw the pond glowing, it was a golden glow from the water, it's the first time she went out of the backyard and the water is really alluring, she marched to the pond and took a peep on it
"wow!" she smiled, the mud fish swimming in the water is glowing gold making the water clearer, what's more the water is fresh
"so this is what you mean by gold" she said exploring the mudfish, they are more like a small water dragon than their original kind for they have scales and silver eyes, their dorsal fins are like wings that is way larger than it used to
"so rare!!" she said and tried to touch one but it ran away
"be gentle with them-" Jin said standing next to Yunxi, Yunxi was startled and almost fell down but Jin catched her waist and bring him closer to his body
"why is it that everytime I stand next to you, you fall down out of clumsiness?" Jin smiled down on her showing his perfectly lined teeth, Yunxi pushed him away
"it's because I was startled you idiot!" she glared at him
Yunxi looked back at the pond and explored the little dragon fish
"in my country there are glowing fish like this at night but they are not as pure as these golden mudfish"
"they are actually dragon fish, they just take the form of a mudfish to look bad, just like the trees you saw they like to surprise people" Jin said and touched one, the other golden dragon fish gathered in his hand and he pat them like a dog
"h-how do you do that? you can touch them" Yunxi stepped towards Jin but they all flopped away
"why?!" Fei Jin chuckled and sat down on the lip of the pond, Yunxi is now towering her tall husband and each time he smile she was blushing all over from his pretty face
"actually, these dragon fishes is no ordinary! they are a spirits of animals from the past, one dragon fish has a thousand species of animals"
"you mean there are thousand spirit of them?" Yunxi had a wide eyes
"yes, it is a way of Heaven to keep them safe from spirit eaters, there are demons who eat spirit animals because they give power" Yunxi sat next to Jin and listened to him carefully
"also, these dragon fish is formed by nature, they are usually made in a temple, onehundred in every 50 years so the monks could take care of them, and once thousand of newborn baby animals are born at the same year around the world, one dragon fish will disappear!!" Yunxi's eyes were glowing and gestured on the dragon fish
"what a beautiful circle of life, how did you get to be friends with them Fei Jin?"
"I don't fear beast nor has the guts to kill animals, Just like animals they are afraid of being devoured killed and abused so seeing you for the first time makes them startled and alerted, don't worry just show kindness and love towards them and they will come to you on their own will, they actually feed on your good spirit and kind heart and it makes them grow just by sucking good energies!!" Jin said and touched the water where the dragon fishes gathered to his hand
Yunxi nod and stand up, she was fascinated by what she heard and the cycle of animal spirits was really beautiful
"Fei Jin thank you for today I learned a lot from you?" she said
"it's alright, I had to teach you so you could know how to defend yourself!" he replied and walked away
looking at him walk away, Yunxi knew she does not wanna get divorce, it seems like things still takes time, and she decides to cancel what Jin said
she walked back inside and prepared to take a shower, thinking about how everyone is doing back at Ju state in her homeland, Yunxi is all over her family and even witness her brother and sisters are happy that she no longer exist there, but she also laughed knowing they think her handsome husband is someone like a deseased monk with bald head and bedridden
"I guess faith brought you back to me!" she said and flapped her hands on the water
"Xiuming, Xiuyan I hope you guys are doing well without me there" Yunxi is quite sad upon thinking about them, and she remembered Xiuyan and her gift
"I'll open that one day?" she said missing her little brother
after her bath she brought out her wings to cool them, her pretty wings glowed like the moon, her energy inside flowed out making every flower come back to life, as she began meditating, her healing wave roamed around the temple healing the tired bodies of the sleeping monks and Yuan
Shao Qi who is also reading from his stress felt less terrible and he knew this wave is no ordinary so he went out and peep on the air
Shao Qi smelled the wave of healing and knew it was Yunxi who is meditating
"seems like your off to good use for my son!" he smile and sat down outside the balcony to read and have a cup of tea while his muscles heal up for free
