the night was calm and rain has stopped, drops of water and muddy road joined the carriage wheel as it moves endlessly towards its destination, Fei Xu drove the carriage away however he sensed movement through the bushes, the assassins are perfect in moving from tree to tree but they do not know that Fei Xu can see their movement clearly
"all of you ready your swords they are gonna attack!!!" says Fei Xu
Feng cignalled the ace soldiers and made ready their blades when it attacks
as suspected, the assassins attacked the soldiers and was quick in movement however the ace soldiers are fully prepared and killed most of them without Fei Xu lift a tip of his sword
"more are coming!!!" Says Fei Xu and finally joined the soldiers
"Feng look after Master long!!!"
"yes Diánxià!!!" says Feng
Assassins attacked the troops of Fei Xu and most of them were skilled, luckily the ace Soldiers can easily counter their fast moves but can also lose due to being outnumbered, Fei finally moved and fought to kill the assassins who are after the prince inside the carriage, they wanted to burn it down but Feng was there guarding Master long well
with the sound of blades and cling clang of iron swords, baby Fei Jin woke up, Master Long was furious holding the baby getting ready to make him fall back to sleep but it was impossible, however Fei Jin did not cry but stared at Master Long for a long time, as the blades began to get louder Master long wanted to cover his ears to avoid the kid from hearing some disaster but Jin laughed hearing the blades that cling clang outside, Master Long stared at Jin and opened the curtains to see the outside, seeming like being controlled Long was nervous, Jin looked at the fire and saw Fei Xu fighting with the Assassins
as soon as Fei Xu saw Master long he became fearful and rushed to his son who was laughing at him
"Master Long close the curtain-" he said
"your son can control people!!!" says Master Long and stared at Xu
"what do you mean?"
"he likes to see you fight and loves the sound of blades!!!" continued master Long
"Fei Jin-" Xu stared at Jin, his eyes twinkled right at him as if telling him he is in danger, just as he thought a blade nearly stabbed him by the neck, luckily he dodged and stabbed the assassin through his neck, blood splattered around his face, the world became silent as Xu kill the man, Xu looked at Jin and witnessed him laughing, he trembled in fear and pushed Master long inside the carriage
"Jin'er you listen to your father, stay inside!!!" as he command his son, Master long was put aback and can finally control himself, looking at Jin's eyes was like being controlled so he covered them with blanket
the baby started crying out loud for he can see nothing, but it was better than hearing the baby laugh from the cries and cling clang of swords
in the morning, all the assassins were killed from the fight, Xu gave his men a rest and asked some men to put the bodies of the assassin aside and put a victory sign above it, this is to mock the king from his doing
Xu also began his journey back to the hillside gate of foggy forest, the place is secured and people can easily get lost and lose thier mind at the same time, luckily Xu was prepared and cannot easily get affected with illusions
every soldier tied themselves to the carriage and put cottons to their ears, the foggy hillside road has an illusion that tricks people to get lost on their journey, Fei Xu covered the eyes of the horse and led them all out of the place using his amber eyes but it was never an easy journey, some soldiers still broke out of the rope and fainted, the other soldiers carried their brother and marched away, Master Long inside the Carriage was asleep with the baby as suggested by Prince Fei Xu so they will not get caught by the illusion
finally, a message came to the king and the scroll of the so called victory turned to be a failure, all his ace assassins were killed and was piled like a mountain by the roadside with a flag sign of victory
Emperor Fei Tianing stomped up and roared in his throne like a busted old man who did not win the bet
"Lin- where is your brother last night!!!" he yelled out, Lin had a sleepy face and saggy eyes as he approach his father
"why you look like that!!!" says their father
"oh, I wanted to comfort my brother last night because I knew his son will be killed so I drank with Fei Xu, he is at his residence!!" says Lin smiling
"Nonsense, come with me I shall pay your brother a visit myself!!!" the king did not want to easily let go of Fei Xu so he walked out of the palace himself and went to his residence
Fei Xu's clone was drinking tea next to a pond where he feeds fish and let his sadness take over, Liang poured him tea and looked around his face to see if there are strange things but the clone stay like Fei Xu
"Miss Liang, The emperor is coming we better get ready!!" says Zu, her subordinate who spies around
"hmmm good!!!" says Liang and prepared the corpse
"remember to speak smart when facing the Emperor!!!" Liang smiled, The clone smiled and continued drinking tea
the Emperor arrived with his guards together with prince Lin, Liang knew they are here to keep an eye on Fei Xu so she prepared herself and her puppet strings to control the clone
The foggy hillside was not easy to cross, now they are gonna cross the gates of beast going to the hill of Dragon temple, the wild beasts are not easy to kill at all some soldiers died with no mercy
"Diánxià this is bad, if we keep going too far I'm afraid they will kill us all!!!" says Master long
"just a bit further and we will meet the guardian of Dragon temple!!!" Says Fei Xu, but the soldiers was furious and fear covered them like a blanket

Feng finally stood up and looked at his brothers

"we are guarding the prince of Catastrophe and it led us to bad luck and beast killed all our Brothers!!!" one soldier cried, Fei Xu frowned not knowing what to say
"think about it vice general, we are almost there, if we go and achieve victory then all our work is done, if you go back and get killed by beasts your work will be a waste, take your pick!!!" says Feng, finally the soldiers frowned
"alright, Prince Fei Xu, this is for your son, promise us when we reach the gate of Dragon temple we will go back safely!!!" says the vice general and bowed
"yes, I promise!!!" says Fei Xu
they began their journey and avoided lots of beast until finally they saw a large gate covered in ash of thick fog, they finally sigh in relief and ran there as fast as they can
the gate was closed shut and no guardian seem to stay there, Fei alerted himself and told his subordinates to back off and let him handle it alone
"go back a little farther away from here I sense a wild beast!!!" says Fei Xu and brought out his sword
"yes Diánxià!!!"
Fei Xu explored the gate and he knew he can sense danger and abnormal aura of the surrounding, he closed his eyes and felt movement, just as he thought a blade came right at him but he dodged, 2 taled beast climbed out of the gate, they have the body of feirce dogs armored in gold with a tail of bladed scorpion, their fangs are keen and the smell of poison comes out of their breath
the first one with a red eye on his left attacked, Fei Xu dodged the beast but the other with red eyes on the right came to swallow him and throw him away, Fei Xu landed on a tree and the impact made him flinch in despair
"back, get back, this wild beast is not some ordinary human could kill!!!" says Fei Xu
"Diánxià, you cannot use your power, your body will weaken!!!" Feng warned
"we- we need to get my son to the temple of dragons!!!" says Fei Xu and walked towards the beast, Fei Xu's eyes began to glow amber and gave his blade the power to slice the armors of the guardian dogs
"Diánxià!!!" says Feng
the first beast ran towards Fei Xu wanting to gnarl him alive but Fei Xu slashed his blade in the air which formed an enormous wind blade that struck the beast to back off and was slammed on the golden gate, the other beast's twin ran towards Fei Xu and used it's scorpion tail to stab him through the stomach, Fei Xu spit some blood but stared at the beast's eyes and slashed his blade which cut off the beast's tail
the beast roared in agony, the other beast ran towards his twin to comfort him and finally they howled together
"Diánxià are you alright!!!" asked Feng
"I am okay, let's just wait for the people of the temple to come down since the guardians called for them
they waited for a couple of minute, the two beast climbed on the gate and looked at the carriage smelling the air of Catastrophe
"Diánxià, I think a monk is coming!!!" says Feng and pointed on the person walking out of fog til he reached the golden gate
"finally!!!" he said
the monk did not look like a monk but an ordinary person with noble look and pretty face, he had long hair that rained down his shoulder and pretty little golden crown at one side of his hair
"how vicious, you cut my dog's tail!!!" says the so called not monk looking guy
"are you the monk in this temple!" says Fei Xu
"monk, I am not a monk, and lowly people like you is not in the position to know who I am!!!" says the guy with arrogant face
"you lowly peasant, this is Prince Fei Xu second Prince of Zye Empire the biggest city of all lands!!!" Feng said a little too furious
"what do I care, if you are here to ask for herbs and pearl of life I have no more, get back to your homes for you are not welcome!!!" says the noble guy and gave a disgusted face

"my dogs says you have power with you what are you!!!" the noble guy stepped towards him with an interested face

"Do I hear a baby cry!!!" asked the nobleman, he was quite trembling and can sense power within the voice
"yes, you are hearing it right, you are hearing the cry of Catastrophe!!!" says Fei Xu
"you!!! let me see your hand!!!" says nobleman and pulled Fei Xu, he pinched him with silver needle and tasted the blood
"you- you conceived the Prince of Catastrophe!!!" says the noble man
"yes, it cannot be killed, my father tried to burn him down but he survived while my wife was burned to ashes!!!" says the sad Fei Xu
"what do you want!!!" asked the noble guy
"we want to bring it here away from the humans!!!" says Fei Xu
"but-" the noble guy was furious and looked up the heavens, it was like the clouds are telling him to take it in
"fine, bring the baby closer and let me look at him!!!" Master Long was called and held the baby in his arms, he came out with the sleeping Fei Jin
Fei Xu held his son and showed it to the noble man
"this is my son from my flesh and blood, Fei Jin!!!" he said and opened the blanket for the man to see
"he is indeed looking normal from my image!!!" says the noble guy, he walked out of the gate and held the baby
