Hale really enjoyed his work, well, some of it. He really loved chatting with his co-workers, sparring with Calypso. But delivering boxes of misfortune to others just wasn't really what he had imagined as a child. Back then, all they ever said was that the Pandora Express always brought justice to criminals! They never said how though. Hale's morning routine was quite simple, he'd wake up, brush his teeth, take a quick shower, eat breakfast and head out to work. Nothing too complicated, just the way he liked it.
As Hale went to work, he'd greet everyone he saw. Most people happily greeted him back, but there was always the occasional disgust some gave him. There were many reasons why, but it was mainly because people feared the PEX. One day they'd be bringers of justice, heroes of the land, but sin once, and you'll be their next target. Of course, most people never sinned, why would they? The society was fair and just, breaking the laws or sinning never paid off.
At work Hale would start by greeting the receptionist, Mrs. Bardsley. Afterwards he would have a chat with Andrew, talking with Andrew was never a bore, he was really passionate about his job, and how he made the boxes were always quite the spectacle. Next Hale would go on his deliveries, which he never enjoyed. After his deliveries, he would always go for a spar or two with Calypso. Normally he would have never enjoyed fighting like this, but the sensation of having to sharpen your senses was addictive.
After work, Hale would always stop by the meatball shack for dinner, he just couldn't help it, their specialty was just delectable. After dinner, he'd head back home, take a shower, brush his teeth, maybe even practice his newfound ability, and go to sleep. It was quite mundane at times, but Hale enjoyed his life very much. Ever since the killings were stopped, everything had been sailing quite smoothly. How he wished it wouldn't change.
