Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 "Hail"

"Here we are, Grandma Angela's Meatball Shack! The only place that should sell meatballs in this entire city." Jeep advised Hail. "You should also try Grand-aunt Belinda's Fried Chicken, right across the street, best in town." Jeep assured with a look of great confidence. Hail walked into the diner with Jeep trailing behind him, sat on a stool near the bar and rang the bell, ding! A short woman appeared from the staff room, "H-Hello dear customers, I am Brenda! I'll be serving you," She announced handing the two menus with nervous hands. "Please take your time, don't worry we have all day, please just order before 10 minutes." She babbled.

"I'll take the house's special." Hail replied almost immediately.

"Same." Agreed Jeep, as he started to wonder whether the nervous Hale at work and this Hale who seemed confident were the same person.

After a while, there were 2 plates filled with thick meatballs poured over with smoking, grey and thick mushroom gravy. The aroma of the meatballs make Jeep drool in delight whilst Hail was much more concentrated on something else, something crucial to Jeep. As they ate, Hail told Jeep, "As thanks for showing me this wonderful spot, in return, I shall show you something I'd like to call murderously delicious." Jeep who was a food-lover would no doubt be incredibly interested, more interested than bees are in pollen.

After their brunch, Hail led Jeep towards a dark alleyway. "Are you sure you are not lost?" Jeep inquired as Hail silently picked up a metal rod behind him, "Oh dear no, we are exactly where I want you to be." sneered Hail as he smashed the side of Jeeps head with all his strength, which started to bleed as Jeep who wouldn't wake up any time soon, slumped onto the ground. Hail then proceeded to wear cleaning gloves that he had put in his bag earlier this morning and stuff Jeep's body down the sewers through the manhole along with the cleaning gloves, as to get rid of the evidence. "Nothing like a swift murder after lunch." Hail muttered while wondering how much more people he could murder. After cleaning up, he prowled out of the alleyway, only to be shoved on his shoulder by a rushing man. He's eyes returned to a bright shade of pink. "Where am I? Why am I here? Where's Jeep?" stammered Hale. "I-I think I should just sleep this off." He suggested as per the many times before, starting to jog towards the direction of his apartment with the help of some sign posts, unbeknownst to him that he would never meet Jeep ever again
