As the door opened, on the other side was a group of German soldiers. I let out a rather long sigh, receiving looks of confusion in return.
"Well...Who is first?" I raise my fists in preparation for a fight. One of the soldiers, assumingely an NCO due to his uniform, steps forward with a cocky grin. As he goes to deliver a blow to my head, I draw my pistol and put a few rounds into his chest, pushing a grenade into him and shoving him into the group, blowing them all up in just a few seconds.
I chuckle lightly as I walk past the burning corpses. The hallways were dark and dirty. Due to this, it is obvious that they either don't care about this section or have only recently started using it. There are very few guards, up until I reach the generator room. Outside were three guards, to which I easily dispatch them with my pistol.
I slowly slip inside the room only to find a much larger group of people. I groan rather loudly and they all look towards my direction. I toss a flash bang at them and take cover. They open fire, but are blinded and deafened by the flash bang, giving me a chance to open fire on them with my rifle. Stray bullets slam into the walls and equipment. A few rounds slam into the generator, causing it to begin stuttering.
"Well...It has been fun! But now it is time for me to start my own fun." I search the corpses and find another pipe bomb. I strap it to the generator and pull the pin, walking out as the generator is blown up. As I exit, a young German soldier stares at me, shaking as he begins to back up. I walk over and grab him, pulling off his flashlight. "Pick a new place and people to live with." He runs off and I see the entrance to the vents.
I climb into the vents and crawl around inside, heading to the next sector. After about two hours of crawling, I come to a point in which the vent crumples from my weight. I fall, but my landing wasn't very hard. I crawl out to find that I'm now in a room, a bedroom to be precise. I hear a noise and look up at the door. There is a girl standing there, a look of shock and horror on her face. I slowly lift my hand to my mouth and put a finger to my lips, signaling her to be quiet. She nods in compliance as I take a seat on the floor.
"Fuck...I am too tired..." I mutter this quietly and the girl walks over and hands me a cup of water.
"D-Drink up S-Sir..." She then turns and leaves the room, confusing me heavily as I begin drinking it. I slowly begin to fall asleep, and eventually, peace falls upon me as I slumber.
