It was midday as the feel of cold iron rubs against her wrists uncomfortably. She stood there in a dark prison cell listening to distant cheers coming from outside. There was sounds of clanking nearby as two guards walked down the dark hall and stopped at her cell. "Former Empress, Deshing Wang." One guard stares at her wiith disdain before grabbing her arm and leading her out the cell. So it was time to face the people who put her here. She holds her head up because she felt that she might as well go out as the Empress until the end.
The voices of the people filled her ears as she was forced out into open. "Kill the Empress!" Well then it's not like she wasn't expecting this. She did wish that she chose a different way of doing things during her reign as Empress. Her biggest mistake was her misjudgments and not listening to the needs of the people. In the end she was down here looking at the gazes of many hateful citizens. One face in particular stood out amongst the crowd the most. Seeing that face among all these people made her realize that she left some loose ends in this life.
She's pushed up some stairs and forced to her knee where a man stood to the side holding a very dull butcher spear. She looks ahead at the crowd for the last time before her neck was pushed onto the log. If she could wish to be reborn once again then she would not change much about herself. The only thing she would do differently is making sure who she should keep by her side. There's not too many regrets in this life but a few. She closes her eyes and the last thing she remembered was her screams of agonizing pain and then darkness.
