Sunny was busy eating the golden fried chicken the maid, Mary, brought to her. Her mouth is full and some gravy smudged at the around her lips.
Chicken System: Host, are you a hungry ghost? With what you are doing, you will earn hate points rather good feelings points from thousand of golden chicken.
Sunny stopped and asked in her mind 'Then, what style do you want me to eat this chicken? Do you want the version of Mc Donald or Kentucky Fried Chicken?'
She looks like an idiot while doing that. Imagine a woman holding a chicken thigh with bite marks looking at the ceiling with a foolish smile.
Chicken System: Stopped advertising other fried chicken. They are not paying us. What you must promote is HD GFC, okay?
The golden chicken ranted.
Sunny frowned and think hard.
HD GFC??? What's that?
Seeing her questioning look, the chicken system wanted to smash her face.
Chicken system: In which part of novel world are you from? HD GFC, you do not know? Bad ratings, bad ratings. HD GFC means Heavenly Delicious Golden Fried Chicken. Get it? Get it?
Sunny nodded dumbly with what the chicken system explained.
This is the scene Jenard saw. Her wife maybe forgot some memories about herself but her foolishness never fades and seems worse than earlier.
Jenard slowly and silently walk to their purple carpet and stopped beside her. The woman seated in a wheelchair busily munching chicken didn't even notice him.
He cleared his throat to attract her attention and it succeed but his lips twitched to her reaction and black lines appeared on his forehead.
Sunny slowly turned her head to look at the person who suddenly popped up beside her. She hastily put down the chicken thigh she was holding.
"Fried Chicken, the man in front me looks delicious than you. His chiseled face, thick eyebrows, proud nose, and those pink lips. Although he looks cold but he also looks so yummy." Sunny muttered to herself while looking at the tall and handsome man in front of her. Her saliva was almost dripping which totally disgust the golden chicken system.
Chicken system: Your disgusting. Are you still acting? You are overdoing it. The original Sunny Xia is a little fool but not a lunatic. But the way, he is your husband, Jenard Lu.
But Sunny didn't bother to listen to chicken system. What is only on her mind right now is the desire to confirm her assumption.
'This man is a like a Greek god. A finely made ice sculpture but he will surely taste like ambrosia.'
With that, Sunny suddenly stretched his arm on Jenard. The man was shocked and his chiseled ice cold face cracked. His cheeks keep twitching. A curse flow out of his mouth.
"F*ck! Sunny Xia, what are you doing?" He said while trying to stop her advances using his hands. He jumped three meters away from her when he felt a wet sensation on his hand.
*THUMP* *THUMP*
His heart accelerated, his eyes' pupil change its color and on his mind he's thinking 'Is this woman trying to seduce me? My defenses against her is really weak. ' He blinked his eyes to calm himself and didn't show what he thinks on his face.
He uttered multiple curse to show his disgust from her action.
Frustrated that she can't kissed and tasted the lips of the man, Sunny pouted and fell from her wheelchair. She looks like a little girl bullied by her elder brother. She whinned and cried, her eyes is like a cute kitten asking to be petted.
Jenard clenched his fist and slowly stretched his hands. He almost hugged and consoled her but his hands froze in air when he heard her words.
"Hubby, don't you want a welcome kiss from your beautiful wife?" Sunny act pitifully.
*Blag*
Jenard was bewildered and flustered. He shouted the name of the people listening outside the door. Yes, some melon-eating people campered outside her bedroom. They wanted to know what will be his reaction when he saw his wife.
"Simon Jiang, Butler Mu, come in." He muttered while gritting his teeth. He was almost caught by this people. He doesn't want them to discovered that he has a feeling to his wife. It's not yet the right time. They might accidentally said it to his foolish wife.
"Brother Lu, what can we do for you?" Doctor Jiang cooly asked. He was not embarrassed at all to be caught listening to others conversation.
"Yes, Young master." The old Butler Mu agreed like a humble servant.
"Doctor Jiang, kindly checked my wife again. She seems like someone suffering from lunacy and not an amnesiac person. Although my wife before the accident was a bit fool, she never acted like that in front of me. She seems like a different person." Jenard whispered quietly to Doctor Jiang. His face was stiffed not betraying what he really thinks. And the concern was hidden.
Doctor Jiang was slightly taken aback. It seems Jenard Lu really has some feelings for his wife.
"Do you want to watch while I do the re-check-up?" Doctor Jiang whispered back.
Doctor Jiang knew that his best friend treated this woman differently from the other women he met. Aside from his mom, he either treated the other women rudely or civilly. His suspicion that Jenard has a feeling for her maybe true, but he doubted it and abolished his own conjecture. This girl is a foolish and maybe treated nicely for the sake of his grandfather.
"Yes, wait for me. I will going to change my clothes first." He said icily while looking to his oily tailored suit. Although what he had is only a mild OCD and not a severe mesophobia, he was itchy and wants to change clothes and take a shower.
After saying that, he restored his ice cold face walked outside the room and asked Mary to help his wife to change clothes and he curse himself when he suddenly looked to his wife and realized what he did. F*ck! He forgot that his wife's lower body was paralyze.
Jenard Lu you re a beast.
He turned abruptly and ran to his bedroom.
