I heard a knock on the door and Connor walked in wearing a suit and holding out flowers. He grabbed my hand and hurriedly picked me up in bridal style, as he must have seen that I am not good with heels and walked outside to the car and placed me down in the passenger seat, and he started to drive away.
"Where are we going?" I ask about 5 minutes into the drive and we are nowhere I recognize.
"It's a surprise" was all he said as he turned up the radio. Ughhh I hate this guy. After about 10 more minutes of driving he turned onto a dirt path and handed me a blindfold and said
"put it on, trust me. Ok?" I snatched it out of his hands and tied it around my head. I felt us slow down and eventually stop. Connor opened his door, and the backseat doors, he must have grabbed something and opened my door and pulled me up. I was right next to him so close that I felt his hard chest, I quickly backed up, but thanks to these stupid heels tripped, but as I prepared for impact it never happened. Instead Connor caught me, great, see this is why I HATE heels. He guided me up a hill and as we reached the top he removed the blindfold, and revealed the most amazing sight, we were on top of a hill that was above the dark forest it was an... an amazing sight. Seeing how dense the forest was, all you could see was treetops but there were splashes of color of the birds and plants.
"Wow" I mumbled as I climbed the tree that sat on top of the hill and rested on a branch never removing my eyes from the spectacular view. As I was too busy admiring the AMAZING view that I didn't realize Connor climbed up and was sitting in the next branch over, the branches were so close together that our legs were touching.
"This is where I come to relax" he said as he pulled out some cookies from a picnic basket he brought. I stared at the cookies as he started moving them around, my eyes started following them. He laughed and threw the cookie over to me. I caught it and quickly gobbled it down. We chatted until the sun started to go down, then we decided it was time to go home.
