My first memory's of my life was in my home town of Liverpool, where I played football and had many friends after I was adopted at the age of 5 which was rare at the time. That's was twelve years ago now I'm seventeen and will be turning eighteen in a month. My adopted family have always been so nice to me but that has changed recently my mom, Candice has been off with me avoiding eye contact and mumbling biblical chants under her breath.Normally it never bothered me,but changes had also occurred with my two sisters as well questioning where we came from considering we were all around the same age and never herd word from are real families that was untill today...
Julie my eldest sister went to get the post this morning from Charlotte are local post woman who had to cycle up a hill just to get to our farm house.Julie was a fair haired brunette with a fairly short stature with icy blue eyes it was clear of the mark you could tell we weren't actually related, but it didn't stop people thinking we all where.
Me and my sister's all got of the train together when fleeing from Liverpool and London to the county side of Scotland as evacuees. My other sister Mary was currently on a business trip to Wales at the time I got the letter, I never thought I'd ever receive.
Mother and I had just finished sheering the small flock we had and often never received post as we was quite rural area so we only got letters once a month. The letter was addressed to me which I found odd as it was written on old parchment with a wax seal it was the most strange coat of arms.It was of a wolf like creatures fighting another beast.Confused by the letter. I broke the seal using a knife I slit it open without anticipation to find the document of a will which appeard to have belong to a unknown grandfather of my birth name saying I had inherited a living place and some family I had was trying to reach out to me.
Tears began to swell up in my eyes terning them from my grey hues to black which both frightened and upset my mom who was boiling some water on the stove to make tea.Once I had told her of the letter she to began to sob apologies for her recent behaviour as if she was trying to hide something from me.
I ask her what was wrong but she just shyed away, which told me that she wasn't going to tell.so instead I went to find Julie as she often was supportive even when we where small.she use to joke about our acents in comparison to mother as we all came together for different places round the country.
I found here reading another letter in her room exempt it had a different seal, which was even more odd was it was written in the same hand but a different crest it was of a stag a family symbol know to be orientated with the Highlands of Scotland but what was strange it was signed by the same Man a mister V Ulderake.
Not wanting to upset are mother we did not mention the letters further and continued working and living oblivious to the world around us.Untill he came...
