My footsteps resounded. My shoes crunching the scorched ground as I walked. Finally causing the half-dead woman to notice me.
Seeing me, she turned her upper body, which was only thing left on her.

I said, as I drew my sword and placed it against her neck.

Still, she laughed, or so she tried, before breaking into another coughing fit. Red blood spilling from her mouth.
