Chapter 35: The Dungeon of Truth 1
When I open my eyes again, I could see that I'm in some sort of a long hallway. There are grey tall pillars on both sides with lit torches on each. And the floor were a color of gold. Or is it gold in the first place?
[Dungeon of The Truth
Details: Each floor contains missions to bring the truth out of you. If you become dishonest you will never get out off the floor and reach the next level.

I squat down and knock it. It solid, I also try to scratch it. Woah, it's pure gold!
Amazing. Minor details like this were never told on Journey of End since when Rey explains things he only says that Argaux destroys this or that.
I stand up again then continue moving forward.
Hmmm. The Dungeon of Truth huh? Am I really prepare for this dungeon?
Of all the dungeons, why did those idiots went to this one?
*Sigh*
The not-good thing about life is the things that go out of your plans.
Besides the pillars, there are also statues of gargoyles besides it. Creepy, to think that this will come to life later on and attack us.
Oh, wait, hehehe. If I'm correct, these gargoyles here are just statuses of bricks and marbles. Even if I destroy them, they will not be counted as I killing monsters since in the first place what 'cause them to have life in this dungeon's boss.
Hehehehe.
"Twin White Dragon Blade"
Two blades emerged on both of my hands. I inched closer to one of the gargoyle statues.
I look upwards. It's seven feet high and 3 square meters wide.
Its red marble eyes seem to look down on me. These gargoyles are also like the CCTV camera used by this dungeon's first-floor boss.
I smirk and position myself and jump high.
[Quick Dash activated]
*Swisshh* I slice off the gargoyles' eyes easily.
Then I cut off its head and other parts.
After a while, the gargoyle is now in shambles and ruins.

Hohoho, I earn coins? This is getting more interesting and fun. I jump from one gargoyle to another. Destroying all in my way.
*Swish!* I went into destroying spree. Hohoho, this is fun. Maybe this is why Argaux does this, because of fun. Ah, Nah nevermind, I forgot that guy is always on serious mode.
I lost count of how many gargoyles statues I destroyed until I reach the end of the hallway. There is a huge golden door withing it with a big number '1st' written on the top of it.
Just before I could touch it. It opens suddenly. I dodge on my left side when I see something heading on my way.
*Boom!*
It is some sort of fireball?!
"How dare you destroy my beloved creations?!" An ear-piercing sound came inside the door.
"Oh, they're your creations, I don't know. " I said as I look sideways.
"You are lying?!"
"No."
"You are."
"No."
Heh, the first-floor dungeon's boss is someone easy to beat. You just need to simply annoy her.
"Do you know that this is the dungeon of truth?! Lies could easily be seen here!"
"I know."
"So you know. Wait, then why are you lying?"
"To make fun of you."
"You!" A huge shadow came out from the door, but then as it grows closer to me, it becomes smaller and smaller. Until a very small creature is now in front of me.
She's a fairy wearing silver clothes and she is fuming with rage right now and nagging me.
"Do you know that it is bad to lie?!"
"Well, I'm being honest when I said that I'm making fun of you," I said as I look sideways to stop myself from laughing.
"You! You! You are worst than the last group who entered here! Gargoyles attack her!"
A moment of silence...
"Ah, that's right my gargoyles!" she screamed with her tiny voice.
"Stop overreacting, it's not like they are completely gone. You could easily patch them up and this dungeon would reset when you transfer to another world you entered right? So they will be back to how they are supposed to be. Now, hurry up and give me the mission, so that I could move to the next floor."
*Sniff.* "You are worst." The fairy begrudgingly brought out a scroll from her space and hand it over to me.
I open it and there read only one question.
["What is the thing you fear the most?"]
I hand the scroll to her.
"Answer it now." She said as she crossed both her arms.
"I will not answer it."
"Then...Huh...what?" she asked confused.
"Then how are you supposed to enter the second floor?"
"I will not answer it, instead I want to make a deal for you, Mira, the fallen fairy of the East."
Her eyes widen at the mention of her name.
"How do you know that?!" She inches a meter away from me as another fireball is forming in her hand. I want to roll my eyes but I stop myself from doing that. This fairy is somewhat stupid. She didn't ask how I know that they transfer to another world and she only asks this time. Not that, I could simply tell her how I know.
"I just know it, but sadly I couldn't tell you how."
As I said that, she becomes more confused.
"You're not lying." She said as she vanished the fireball.
[Let's hear her words first.] I smirk when I heard that.
"What deal do you want?"
"Help me teleport to where the last group who entered this dungeon are. And to the final floor of the dungeon too, I will give you all the coins I earned from your gargoyles..."
"They are mine in the first..."
"Let me finish first. I would also give you this
[That item!] I smirk more.
"Hmmm. What would I do with some dust?"
"Oh, I see so we have no deal then. I even thought of giving 20 of the dust to you. Then sadly, I will just answer the question, my greatest fear is..."
[20!]
"Wait! Wait! Ok, fine I'll agree with the deal. But I would only need to teleport you up to two times, first to the last group and then to the final floor!"
"Yes."
"Ok. We have a deal." She foolishly agreed with me.
To explain things, the dungeon floor boss has some sort of secret teleportation spell that could bring them to any floor of the dungeon. Plus, the dust I offered her aside from being able to cause paralyzation when inhaled, has another property that she would never be able to refuse to.
A magic circle started to envelop us below. As Mira started chanting inchrohemsible words.
And with that, we disappeared on the first floor.
"We are on the 34th floor now, they are inside that door right now,"
We both appeared on the same gold door but the difference is there is a 34th label on the upper part of it.
"Thank you. You may wait here"
"No. I will come with you. If you die, I will not be able to receive the end of my deal. I even break some rules for this dungeon."
"Oh. Ok then suit yourself."
I then touch the door, and it opens wide.
"Frea!" The loud shout of Dina was the first thing I heard and my eyes widen when I saw that a huge icicle pierces through Frea. What is that Lizard doing?! He was supposed to protect his contractor?!
I flew past towards Frea and cut off the icicle. The icicle piercing her disappear into dust. And I catch her. Blood is gushing out from her.
"Via?" She mumbles weakly.
"Idiot."
*Boogsh*
I jump off as another icicle heads towards us.
I land beside Dina who is also full of injuries but it seems she could still move.
"What is the question that caused this?" I said with a cold voice as I handed Frea to her I also handed the
"That..." Dina hesitates as sadness crossed her eyes.

I smashed the incoming icicles with our blade.
"She answered Yes, correct?" I said with coldness in my voice.
"Yes." Dina dropped her head, as Frea's wound is closing. Her breath is stabilizing but she loses consciousness.
"Here are another two potions and a barrier stone, make that lizard drink this too. And try not to get on my way."
Dina caught the items, I throw them at her.
And then I face the huge gigantic ice polar bear golem in front of me, who is sitting on its throne and watching the scenes with silence.
I point my right blade to him. "I'm going to end you here," I said with my coldest voice and disappears from my position before and appeared in front of the golem. His claws and my blades clashes and creates a huge shockwave. It shatters the icicles that are flying around.
