Morning came and the world welcomed it . People started their daily lives and Raven also did that .
" Uncle Claw , when will father come back? He just told me that he was going to the battlefield. I believe that it must not be a large scale war with Beast Empire .. " Raven asked Claw casually while eating some cooked meat. This behavior was unlike any normal 12 year old and Raven had also decided to not forcefully act all the time .
Claw looked at the changed Raven but only sighed as he missed to the old Raven who played pranks on him before all the time . He was satisfied with the intelligent Raven but also missed the child Raven .
" Young master , the lord will take at least one year to come back . The war is not large scale one but as the General , he has to attend to many other duties as well . "
Raven only gave an understanding look and continued eating . He was actually happy because at least for a year Raven does not have to play the role of obedient child in front of Dustin . Raven was a loner by personality and never wanted such tight relationships as in his opinion they only bind people unnecessarily.
Raven talked with Claw about some cultivation matters because he only wanted knowledge right now . Raven knew that he would advance too quickly with the help of pills so he needed some method to easily and quickly consolidate his cultivation. If he does not do that then his foundation will become unstable and it will become frequent to encounter bottlenecks in future cultivation.
Raven had no fear of pill poison as the pills he would eat were from system and all of them were Top class pills which contain absolutely no impurities. Such pils were myths in today's cultivation world because alchemists who can refine top class pills or even high class pills were too rare . Thus Raven was destined to advance much faster than his peers even though his talent may be average.
Talking with old experts was helpful and Raven gained the approval to his idea too . Qi could be refined and the most easiest way to get used to it was practicing Martial Arts . These skills when mastered would passively increase the control over qi and even make it more dense and powerful . Others who had mediocre talent usually neglect training Martial skills because they need too much time for cultivation alone . But Raven wont do that as having skills was also helpful and cultivators would often need to battle enemies or beasts for resources .
Raven came inside his room and locked it because he did not want Lily to come inside and know the existence of pills . System had already notified Raven that 11 qi bursting pills were waiting to be consumed and now system was refinig another batch on Raven's command .
Raven sat on his bed and held one ping pong ball sized light blue pill in his hand . The pill gave off a small faint aura which made it look mystical . This aura was the proof that this pill was Top class. Other class pills will never produce such pill aura because they contain certain amount of impurities inside .
Raven grinned for a while before swallowing the pill . The pill was like cotton candy and instantly dissolved itself when came into contact with his tongue. The herbal mixture traveled inside the body and in a second reached the inner world .
A small BOOM sound which could only be heard by Raven sounded from his inner world as the qi has exploded and instantly increased in amount . Raven was delighted as he confirmed that his inner world was now filled little more than one fourth with dark red qi . The qi increased 50 percent from before and the quality was not diminished.
Raven wanted to eat another pill right now but restrained himself because he knew that he could only enjoy the benifit of 50 percent increase 9 more times . Raven had decided to use the pill only when he was on the verge of advancing one level . He would then smoothly advance and the time needed to be spent on cultivation would be shortened greatly .
Raven started cultivating normally and once again Flame particles started sticking to his body . The Flame element was rich inside the mansion because there was a small low level Flame Vein buried under it . Raven only heard this information from Claw before and was glad that his identity produced one more benifit .
Ten more days passed and Raven managed to reach Level 5 of Qi condensation realm . He planned to reach Level 6 before starting practicing Martial Skills but a friend came suddenly and asked for Raven . He could only reluctantly stop cultivating and meet this supposed friend while hiding the resentments deep inside .
