A week had passed since Raven stepped on the road of Cultivation .
Raven discovered that he possessed superior amounts of mental energy so he abused the hell out of it and remained inside his mansion the whole time. He only cultivated and ate food cooked by Lily which was seriously delicious by his standards . Apparently Lily wanted to open a restaurant in future and Raven decided to fulfill this dream of his childhood friend in future.
He was unaware of outside matters but one incident had happened which caused the Empire to be in turmoil . Apparently the third prince after leaving the Silverwind City went missing. The trail the prince and his personal guards took was discovered but only the corpses of guards were found near Barrack Plains which are 2 days away from the city .
The Emperor was known to be extremely doting to the third prince . So when he heard the news , he was enraged and moved all the nearby forces to search for the whereabouts of the prince . Even army was ordered to participate in the search but the prince was not found at all .
Raven did not know about the fact that this disturbance was caused by the actions of his father . In fact even if he knew , Raven could not care less because he was only interested in new formulas and becoming stronger .
In the week , Raven had advanced two levels and was now beginner Level 3 Qi condensation realm expert . This progress was astonishing because others with Level 3 spirit root could not mimic the same feat . They required at least one or two months to reach the same level as Raven . Raven used the fact that he had superior mental power and cultivation technique to reach this result and was not any heaven defying genius .
In this week , Raven was doing one more thing . He had ordered the family people to search and acquire some herbs . Raven knew that he could refine pills with system so he would definitely not forget about it . Still he had no formula of this world yet because they were tightly guarded by the alchemists and other owners . The Flame family was only a military family so naturally they had no alchemist . They used pills which were acquired through STATUS and money and never refined themselves.
But Raven remembered that system had told him that it was possible to refine pills from the game . Raven was of course familiar with some pills which he had consumed in the game and one of the pills was Qi bursting pill which could be of use in Qi condensation realm .
In the game the first realm was also related to qi but there were some differences. First the refined qi could only be stored inside the muscles . Second that the qi had no particular attribute to it . The Qi bursting pill was a rare pill which could be used to increase qi amount of a cultivator by 50 percent . After 10 uses , the effects would start diminishing but the pill was too rare and it was impossible for one person to find 10 pills .
Thus the Refiner Class was too important in the game as they could refine pills anytime and recieved hundreds of formulas when the class was acquired. Still when Raven played the game , there was not even one refiner player yet. He was the first one to get it from clearing a legendary quest but died before accepting the class .
The system had the formulas so Raven told others to buy 9 different herbs which were the ingredients of qi bursting pill . In fact all the ingredients were different from the game and were handpicked by the system from the encyclopedias that Raven had read inside the library.
" Lily, thank you for bringing me these herbs. "
" No master no need to thank me . I'm your maid and it's my duty . Besides all these herbs did not even cost one low grade spirit stone ." Lily smiled but Raven had an indifferent look.
In fact Raven was screaming inwardly because these herbs turned out to be too cheap and on his bed were more than 30 stalks of each herb neatly lined up .
" System , I've stored all of them inside the inventory so tell me how much you need to refine one batch of pills ? " At night Raven asked system excitedly .
" Master , these herbs are different from the original formula and one batch will only produce 5 or 6 pills . " System said indifferently but Raven was stunned .
He had thought that Refinerr System will never fail so he would get 32 pills from the ingredients. But according to system he could get five times the number. Raven's brain was going to be blown from excitement because he knew that he was going to soon reach Level 9 of Qi Condensation Realm now.
He would never doubt system but there was one thing his brain desperately wanted to know right now .
" System , exactly how many pills could be produced with one batch of ingredients inside the game ? "
" 10 ! "
Raven wanted to faint after hearing that single number . In the end Raven decided to shut up because further questioning could bring nothing good .
" Master , in one night two batches of pills can be produced . So begin refining or not ? "
" Begin ! " Raven started imagining about the pills he could eat in the morning and slept through the night after eating delicious food made by Lily.
