Returning to Holly Town, I reported the changes in Horn Village to the town mayor and the Adventurer Association, then collected my bounty. After preparing in town, I set out. I was headed to Duolun City, the largest nearby city, not just to sell the core of the many-faced monster, but also looking to seek information about a new and potentially powerful occupation that could replace my current role as a Demon Hunter.
Of course, the best occupations are exclusive to the few powerful churches of this world. Whether it's a church with a True God or one with an Evil God, each has a very complete sequence of advancement that can take someone from the lowest, Sequence 9, to Sequence 1.
But joining a church...
Being under the watchful eyes of the gods within the church, it's highly likely that my secret identity would be exposed. Who knows what would happen then.
So, I have no choice but to search on my own and try my luck.
