The lunch meeting couldn't drag more! I feel so uncomfortable sitting next to Bay, listening to her father list more ideas for my stepfather's campaign. My stepdad notices my discomfort, as I constantly look at my watch and tap my feet under the table. I only came because I thought Bay wasn't coming, but I guess she refuses to give up on our relationship.
I feel so anxious! Seeing Natalia here definitely surprised me. I can't live with myself after the way I handled the awkward situation. Natalia appeared to be excited to see me and so was I, but I got so nervous that I didn't know how to interact. Ignoring her and denying our friendship was the last thing I wanted to do... but the group I'm sitting with would never understand our connection. Bay and her father would have judged her harshly.
