Finn Rainer and Felix Cross are on horseback. They are both about to leave for Finn's homeland, and retrieve some water from a magical pool which grants power to those who drink it.
Valeria Susano, Theodore Maximus and Angelica Justice are there to see them off.
Felix Cross (The No.9 Elite Mage): I can't believe that only you three came to see us off. We're on an important mission you know. (Felix complains)
Valeria Susano: Well believe it... Blast is busy training somewhere, Matthew is restoring his Plant guards, and Perfect is with Gwenevier and Leon.
Finn Rainer: What are they doing?
Angelica Justice: They're testing the abilities of Lance Grey... To gauge just how powerful he really is.
