Lance and the Warriors head towards a mysterious cave which Lance had found with his magic. Unsure if it was a threat, they go to investigate.
Lance Grey: Let me guess, you're all Enhancement Mages?
Adam Bright: Not quite, don't forget we're not Mages so it's Enhancement Warriors.
Lance Grey: Oh, so you're all Enhancement Warriors?
Jake Mercury: Nah, I and Jessica are the Enhancement Warriors, Adam is just a boring Enchantment Warrior.
Adam Bright: You'll see how boring my abilities are when I stop using it to shield you from attacks! (Adam yells in anger)
Jake Mercury: Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! You know I was only kidding right? No hard feelings? (Jake apologizes)
Adam Bright: I'll think about it... You're right though, I'm only an Enchantment Warrior, I don't know what my powers would be like if I were an Enhancement user, but I'm glad to have this power of mine. I've used it to protect a lot of people, to me that's better than being indestructible.
Lance Grey: (Chuckles) You're right, having the power to protect others is a marvelous gift, you're very lucky to be born with it. (Lance tell him with a kind smile)
Jake Mercury: Hey boss, what type of Mage are you?
Lance Grey: Me?.... I'm beginning to think that in actually an Empowerment mage.
Jessica Jade: You think? I'm a hundred percent sure you're an Empowerment Mage, you can transform into a super strong Dark being and release Dark clouds that cover your surroundings. If that's not an Empowerment Mage, then I don't know what is.
Lance Grey: You're right. Guess I'm pretty lucky as well. (Lance says as he looks at his hands and sees that the dark energy around them had grown stronger, even still, no one can see it)
Adam Bright: We're here. (Adam tells them, for they had reached the cave)
Lance Grey: Let's be careful in our approach, we don't know what's in there.(Lance warns)
Jake Mercury: Come on, It's probably just a dangerous Magic beast or something, nothing you can't handle.
Lance Grey: If it was a Magic beast, then for it to have this much magic power, It would need to be as big as a mountain. (Lance bluntly tells them, the information sending shivers down their spines)
Jessica Jade: Let's be careful then, be ready for anything. (Jessica warns as they begin to approach the cave, but someone steps out first)
Leon Kronos: I told Crash to make sure no humans come near here, now he's gone and the pests are swarming. (Kronos says as he exits the cave, with the Rebirth Stone in hand)
Lance Grey: L- Leon, you're alive! (Lance says with happiness on his face and tears of joy in his eyes)
Leon Kronos: No young one, I'm not Leon, I am Kronos, The Great Demon of Time, and you all have just trespassed into my territory. Demon's Flame! (Kronos says as he creates demonic fire)
With a shocked expression on his face, Lance instinctively called for "Hyena!!!!"
The scorching Demon's Flame hits Lance and the Warriors like the fires from an erupting volcano. It completely obliterates everything in it's path, except for a wall of dark spikes that still stands tall, even after the attack.
Dark Lance: Are you all alright?! (Dark Lance asks worriedly)
Jessica Jade: We're fine, just a little shaken up...Lance if that really is a Great Demon, then we need to get out of here! (Jessica urges)
Dark Lance: Can't you see, that's the No 1 Elite Mage Leon Chronos! (Lance retorts)
Jessica Jade: What I see is a mutated monster whose trying to kill us! Can't you see his scales and wings?! (Jessica tells him in fear)
Jake Mercury: She's right boss, something really messed up is going on, we need to get out of here, please. (Jake begs, fear also written on his face)
Dark Lance: It's going to be okay, just stay close to me. I'll protect you until I can make Leon see reason.
Adam Bright: I can't take it anymore! I'm getting out of here! (Adam says as he runs away)
Jessica Jade: Adam wait! Don't leave us! (Jessica pleads)
Jake Mercury: Come back you coward!
Adam Bright: (Thinks to himself as he runs away) I'm sorry guys, I have so much to live for, I can't die here.
Leon Kronos: There you are. (Kronos says as the sound of a sword slash is heard)
Crash: Sorry for leaving, I promise to make it up to you. (Crash apologizes as he hovered over the dead body of Adam Bright, his Demon Swords red with his blood)
Leon Kronos: Kill all these humans first, then I shall consider forgiving you for abandoning your post.
Crash: Really?! Consider them all dead! (Crash says happily)
Jessica Jade: (Screams in horror) We're all going to die! (Jessica yelled with tears pouring down her face)
Jake Mercury: Get a hold of yourself Jessica! We're not going to die!....Boss, what do we do? (Jake asks with tears in his eyes)
Dark Lance: (Very much terrified and confused) You two should run, I'll hold them off....(Lance says to them, but then feels a sharp pain in his stomach)
The pain was from Crash cutting him in half. As Dark Lance's top half falls to the ground, he sees that Jessica and Jake were already dead, both killed by the decisive blades of the Speed Demon Crash.
Leon Kronos: Good, Now let's leave this place, I will have my Rebirth in a more, pristine environment. (Kronos says as he turns his back on the grisly scene)
Crash: Wait, I think this one is still alive, let me finish him off first. (Crash says as he prepares to stab into Dark Lance's back)
Huntress: Cursed Flame! (Huntress yelled as she breathes the Cursed Flame directly onto Crash's face)
Crash: My eyes! What the hell did that?! (Crash yells as he thrashes about in pain)
Huntress: Find that out in hell! Cursed Flame Explosion! (Huntress yelled as she breathes out a huge blast of flames that pushes Crash back)
Leon Kronos: A Hyena Curse?! You're the servants of Midnight, what are you doing here?! Where is your Master?! (Kronos asks, desperately trying to find out Midnight's location)
Huntress: Master, Are you alright? (Huntress whispers to Lance, whose body is already healing after he puts himself together)
Dark Lance: I'm going to be fine, just save the Warriors, please. (Lance begs as he struggled to stand)
Huntress: I'll do my best. (Huntress says as she leaves to help the Warriors)
Crash suddenly emerges, fully healed from the burns of the Cursed Flame.
Crash: Okay! Somebody's about to die for temporarily blinding me! (Crash threatens)
Leon Kronos: Crash! Subdue that Hyena Curse, It could lead us to Midnight! (Kronos orders)
Crash: A Hyena Curse?, Woah it's true. (Crash says as he notices Huntress approaching the dead bodies of the Warriors) On It! (Crash yelled as he flew towards her)
Dark Lance grabs him by the leg
Dark Lance: You're not going anywhere! (Dark Lance yells as he slammed Crash's body on the ground)
Crash: Oww! Who are you? (Crash asks in pain)
Dark Lance: Like I'll tell you! (Dark Lance yells as he tries to slam his fist into Crash, but he effortlessly evades)
Crash: You're tough, this is going to be fun. (Crash says with a smile as he summons his swords back to his hands)
Dark Jessica: Master! I could only save this one! (Huntress tells Lance, for she had possessed Jessica's body to save her from death, but there was no time to help the rest)
Dark Lance: Take her to the town and warn them of the danger! (Lance orders with tears in his eyes)
Dark Jessica: Understood! (Dark Jessica said as she ran towards the direction of Vine town)
Crash: You're not going anywhere Curse! (Crash yells as he jets towards Dark Jessica, but with her quick reflexes she's able to react)
Dark Jessica: Freeze Fire! (Dark Jessica yells as a huge explosion of Ice and Fire erupts from her hands)
The Freeze Fire attack pushes Crash back, and as he tries to attack again, tendrils wrap tightly around his leg.
Dark Lance: I said! You're not going anywhere!!! (Dark Lance bellowed as he tossed Crash around with his dark tendrils)
Leon Kronos: I would intervene, but the Rebirth Stone is too fragile to take into battle. Plus, Crash can take care of himself. (Kronos contemplates as he watches Crash shred Dark Lance's arms with his swords, but Lance withstood the pain of having his arms destroyed and instantly regrows them, continuing the violent fight)
Dark Jessica on the other hand has already made her way back to Vine town, and then Huntress leaves her body. The civilians look in fear at the Dark Hyena, unsure of what to do.
Huntress: Take this girl and flee this place! The Great Demons are here! (Huntress warns the townfolk, who continue standing there like idiots)
Huntress: I said! Take this girl and leave this place! (Huntress yells in anger, engulfing her body with the cursed flames)
The townfolk run in fear, but luckily one of them carries the unconscious Jessica to safety.
Huntress: I pray somebody calls the Elite Mages, I hope they are as powerful as Voltimara said they were. Nonetheless my job here is done, time to help my Master. (Huntress says to herself as she races back to aid Lance in his fight)
Meanwhile Seeker and the rest of the Dark Hyenas are back at Lance's home, and are enjoying the cookies that Elizabeth had made for them.
Ravager: Miss Elizabeth was right, these cookies are delicious! (Ravager says as he stuffs himself with the bowl of cookies)
Runt: Stop hogging all the cookies! They were for all of us.... Seeker! Ravager's hogging all the Cookies again! (Runt complains)
Seeker: Quiet! I'm trying to concentrate! (Seeker says as before he continues to look outside the window, he then closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath)
Scavenger: If you keep stuffing your face like that you'll get a stomachache, trust me. (Scavenger warns him)
Ravager: I don't care. (Ravager manages to say, despite still stuffing his face)
Runt: Seeker! Do something! (Runt complains again)
Seeker: I said quiet! I'm trying to check up on our Master! Can you please let me do that in peace?! (Seeker yells in annoyance)
They all stay silent
Seeker: Good. (Seeker said before taking in another deep breath, following the scent of Lance Grey)
To Seeker each scent he already knows shows as an image in his head, and he continues to follow the scent until he can smell Lance from where he is. He also smells something else, something awful.
Seeker: Two dead humans. So much blood, and, and, two Great Demons! We need to go right now! Our Master is in extreme danger! (Seeker warns desperately, realizing what was happening)
The Dark Hyenas bust down the door and run towards their Master's location. They do not care about the frightened onlookers or the consequences it could bring, all that matters to them right now is saving their Master.
Back at the Lunar Forest, Crash has finally beaten Dark Lance, his broken body is now on it's knees, helpless before the speed demon.
Crash: What a great fight, what better way to end it than a decapitation! (Crash said as he raises his swords, ready to cut off Lance's head)
Just then a camouflaged Huntress leaps into the body of Dark Lance, and his eyes immediately burn red.
