Leon Kronos and Crash emerge from a portal and step into the cave where the Rebirth Stone was hidden.
Crash The Great Demon Of Speed: So where is this thing? Let's grab it and go.
Leon Kronos: Do not rush me, this will not take long. (Kronos tells Crash as he begins to walk deeper into the cave, until they finally reach the end)
Crash: What now? There's nothing here. (Crash asks as he hovers above Kronos)
Leon Kronos: (Places a hand on the cave wall) Ageless Stone, reveal yourself to your master. (Kronos commands and two stone faces begin to take form on the cave wall)
Ageless Stone One (First Face): Intruders! How dare you invade this sacred place?! (The first face bellowed)
Ageless Stone Two (Second Face): Oh come off it One, I'm sure they didn't mean to intrude. (The second face tells the first)
Ageless Stone One: What's your problem Two?! Why must you always contradict me! (The first face yells in anger)
Ageless Stone Two: And why must you always yell, can't you speak calmly?
Ageless Stone One: Oh here we go again! No, I can't speak calmly!
Ageless Stone Two: And why is that?
Ageless Stone one: Because yelling shows authority! You have no authority that's why you always speak like a whimp!
Ageless Stone Two: (Gasps) How dare you, when our master returns I will make sure he hears of this.
Ageless Stone one: Like I care! He put me in charge remember?! And I demand respect!
Ageless Stone Two: Respect is earned, you cannot demand it.
Ageless Stone One: Oh yeah?! Watch me!
The two faces continue to bicker, completely ignoring Crash and Kronos.
Crash: Are these the Curses you put in charge of guarding the Stone? (Crash whispers)
Leon Kronos: Yes, their not the brightest of Curses, but they are still efficient.
Crash: I'm not so sure about that. (Crash says with a chuckle)
Leon Kronos: Enough! I am Kronos, the Great Demon of Time! And I have come to retrieve my Rebirth Stone!
Ageless Stone one: Excuse me what?! Did you just open your filthy mouth to claim that you are our master?! (One insults in anger)
Ageless Stone Two: There's no need for insults, I'm sure he's just confused is all.
Crash: (Bursts out laughing) You are so dead. You have no idea who you just insulted. (Crash says as he continues laughing hysterically, while hovering in the air)
Leon Kronos: How dare you insult me. I shall burn you to ash. (Kronos threatens as his body begins to transform into a full fledged Dragon man)
Ageless Stone One: (Thinks to himself) Wait a minute, that is the Great Demon Of Speed, does that mean? Oh my Great Demon. (One contemplates in terror as he watches Leon fully transform)
Leon Kronos (Fully transformed into a half man, half dragon hybrid): Demon Territory! Erasing Flame! (Kronos bellowed as multi coloured flames erupt from his hands)
Ageless Stone One: Forgive us master! We did not know it was you! (One begs as tears gush from his stone face)
Ageless Stone Two: Us? Leave me out of this, It was all his fault master! He was the one who insulted you! (Two finally yells, throwing One under the bus)
Ageless Stone One: Why would you forsake me in a time like this?! Help me beg him!
Kronos: Silence! I've heard enough of your annoying voice! Be silent forever! (Kronos yells as he tries to smite One)
Ageless Stone Two: Wait Master! (Kronos stops) I can sense that you're not at your full strength, If you were to kill One now, I would be unable to open the entrance to the treasury, It requires both of us to open.
Kronos: Looks like I left the wrong Curse in charge. After I reclaim the Rebirth Stone, pray that I change my mind about killing you, One... As for you Two, you're officially in charge, congratulations.
Ageless Stone Two: Thank you Master, come on One, make yourself useful and help me open the entrance.
Ageless Stone One: Very well. Thank you for not killing me instantly master, I hope you can forgive me. (One apologizes, before him and Two merge back with the wall and an entrance opens up)
Kronos reverts back to Leon Kronos
Leon Kronos: Crash, let's go. (Kronos says as he enters the entrance)
Crash: Sure thing. (Chuckles) Those Curses were hilarious. (Crash says as he flies into the entrance)
Deeper into the cave they find magical treasures and artifacts as far as the eye can see. At the centre of it all sits the Rebirth Stone on a stone pedestal, It is oval in shape and a lot smaller than the Voidstone.
Crash: Wow, you must really like collecting artifacts, Isn't this a bit much? (Crash asks as he stares at the hordes if magical artifacts)
Leon Kronos: What can I say. I'm a collector. (Kronos says as he walks towards the pedestal and attempts to grab the Rebirth Stone)
As Kronos tries to touch the Stone, a powerful surge of energy painfully repels him.
Crash: Are you okay?
Leon Kronos: I'm fine, I forgot that I left an enchantment on the stone, It repels anyone but the Great Demon Kronos from touching it.
Crash: But you are Kronos.
Leon Kronos: Not fully, I still lack a huge amount of my true power, I will have to destroy the enchantment.
Crash: How can I help?
Leon Kronos: You can't, I need total concentration to break this enchantment.
Crash: Okay then, I will just hover silently in the distance. (Crash says as he hovers)
Leon Kronos: I need to be completely alone, go outside and guard the cave or something.
Crash: Come on Kronos, I wanna watch.
Leon Kronos: You can watch the surroundings outside! You're supposed to be my bodyguard right? Go guard against any pesky humans that may show up.
Crash: (Groans) Fine, hurry up so that we can be done with this. (Crash says as he flies out of the cave in an instant)
Leon Kronos: Finally, I can work in peace. (Kronos says as his hands burn bright with Demon fire, as he prepares to break the enchantment)
Meanwhile outside the cave.
Crash: Stupid Kronos, expecting me to protect him from humans (scoffs) There has to be a better way of keeping the humans away....I've got it! (Crash says as he comes up with an idea and flies away with his enhanced speed)
Crash returns in a matter of minutes, with a small army of Magic beasts.
Crash: Okaaay, I've gathered the fiercest Magic beasts from across the world, now they can guard the cave in my stead. (Crash says in satisfaction)
The Magic beasts all stare at Crash with murderous intent, and then try to attack him.
Crash: (Eyes glow eerily) Try to attack me and you'll all be dead in an instant. (The Magic beasts halt) Now, go into the forest and kill any human you see. (Crash order them sternly)
The Magic beasts show obvious fear in the Great Demon and disperse into the forest to do what he commanded.
Crash: That takes care of that problem, Now I can check out that hot spring I saw earlier. Check you later Kronos. (Crash says as he flies off)
