The Dark Hyenas have captured Lance's Hyena and are interrogating him on the whereabouts of Midnight.
Huntress: How long are you going to withhold information?! Just tell us where Midnight is! (Huntress yells in anger, with the clan backing her up)
Ravager: Why don't we just torture him already?! He's asking for it! (Ravager yelled, angered by Hyenas calm demeanor)
Huntress: No!....In fact everyone leave! Now!!!! (Huntress yells, and all the Dark Hyenas leave reluctantly).... Now that we're alone, tell me why you betrayed us.
Hyena: I never betrayed you or the clan.
Huntress: Then why won't you tell us where our master is?! (Huntress asks angrily)
Hyena stays quiet.
Huntress: I'm sorry I yelled... Midnight is our master, all of us would do everything in our power to protect him. None of us would ever try to harm him in anyway, just like we've not harmed you since you've been here.
Hyena: (Sighs) I'm sorry too, I should never have assumed that you would try to harm our master, you waited patiently for over two hundred years for him to return, and you deserve to know what happened to him.
Hyena explains everything to Huntress, he tells her about Lance Grey and Midnight's sacrifice to save him. As he tells Huntress the story, a look of shock remains on her face as she learns of what became of Midnight.
Huntress: (With tears in her eyes) So... Our master is gone, and has passed on his power?
Hyena: Yes, I'm afraid so.
Huntress: (Laughs) I can't believe he actually did it, he only joked about it once... (she then sob)... If I had known he was serious, I could have....I could have... (She grits her teeth and wipes her tears)... It's too late for that now...Tell me Voltimara, where is Lance Grey? (She asks with a smile on her face, and tears still in her eyes)
Meanwhile, Gwenevier Topaz, Mr Perfect and Lance Grey have been teleported to the Soul kingdom by Leon Chronos. As they arrive, Lance falls to his knees and holds his abdomen in pain.
Lance Grey: (Groans) I don't feel so good. (Lance says as his stomach rumbles)
Leon Chronos: Sorry, I forgot to tell you that teleportation is a bit intense.
Gwenevier Topaz: Come on, you can handle it kid.
Leon Chronos: (Chuckles) Look whose talking, the first time we teleported you...
Gwenevier suddenly punches Leon, sending him flying into the air, but he somehow lands on his feet.
Gwenevier Topaz: (With a terrifying look on her face)... I told you never to speak of that at again!!!! (Gwenevier yells in anger)
Leon Chronos: Yes ma'am! (Leon replied as he prostrates on the ground)
Mr Perfect: We honestly don't have time for this, let's go Gwenevier. (Perfect says as he begins to leave)
Lance Grey: Where is he going? (Lance asks as he recovers from the stomachache)
Gwenevier Topaz: We're on a separate mission to find and eliminate Mistress Copy and Hell mage.
Lance Grey: Woah. (Lance says in awe)
Gwenevier Topaz: Yep, I've been waiting for a rematch against that little twerp, and it's finally time. Good luck on your mission Leon, you're going to need it. (Gwenevier says as she leaves to catch up with Perfect)
Leon Chronos: Thanks!.... Now kid, let's go sightseeing! (Leon yells in excitement)
Lance Grey: What, aren't we supposed to be on an important mission?
Leon Chronos: Yes technically, but we still need to appreciate the sights of this beautiful kingdom, afterall it's your first time here.
Lance Grey: True, I may never get a chance like this again, and since you're okay with it. let's do it! (Lance yells excitedly)
Leon and Lance check out the wonderful sights the kingdom had to offer, and after a while they eventually head to the Palace to meet the Soul King. As Leon enters the palace, the guards simply let him in, no one seems to mind Leon's presence, which made Lance wonder, what kind of relationship did Leon have with the king of the Soul Kingdom.
Announcer: Presenting! Leon Chronos and his associate! (The man yells as he announces Lance and Leon's presence to the king)
The Soul King is a bit older than the Heart King, and the look on his face is terrifying.
King Eric Williams (King Of The Soul Kingdom): Leon Chronos..... Where have you been all this time?! (The king yells as he run towards Leon, and hugs him tightly)
Lance is understandably very shocked by the king's friendly attitude towards Leon.
King Eric Williams: Ah Leon, have you reconsidered my proposal. (The king asks with a smile on his face)
Leon Chronos: I'm still considering
it your majesty. (Leon replies with a nervous smile)
King Eric Williams: Make up your mind soon.... I never told you this Leon, but you're like the son that I've always wanted.
Leon Chronos: I'm not sure your son would appreciate that. (Leon responds, still a bit nervous)
King Eric Williams: Nonsense, all he cares about is spending time with his friends and goofing off, he's not strong like us, besides we would be related if you let me marry your mom.
Leon Chronos: I'm not sure my mom, or your wife would appreciate that either.
King Eric Williams: Enough small talk. Liam! Liam! Liam!!!! (The king calls for the Butler)
Liam Stratos: Yes sir. (The old butler replies calmly)
King Eric Williams: Prepare Leon's favorite dish! Today is a joyous day! (The king yells as he drags Leon with him)
Lance feels a bit out of place, since no one has noticed his presence at all. So he decides to see what Liam is cooking in the kitchen.
Lance Grey: Hello. (Lance says as he opens the kitchen door)
As Lance opens the door, he sees the food literally cooking itself as the ingredients and cooking utensils float in the air.
Liam Stratos: You're the one Leon came with correct? The food will be ready soon.
Lance Grey: How are you doing all this? (Lance asks as he watches the flying foods prepare itself)
Liam Stratos: This is my Soul magic, you can say I put a little bit of my soul into my work.
Lance Grey: Incredible (Lance says in awe)
Liam Stratos: Could you please take your leave? Your presence is distracting me. (The Butler asks as he continues to manipulate the kitchen with his magic)
Lance Grey: Oh sorry. (Lance says as he leaves, but not before taking one last peek)
After enjoying the cooked meal, Leon finally attempts to tell the king why he came.
Leon Chronos: King Eric....
King Eric Williams: Please, call me dad.
Leon Chronos: I'd rather not.
King Eric Williams: Okay. Maybe we're not there yet, but maybe soon.
Leon Chronos: Oookay, the reason I came is to talk about your half of the Voidstone.
King Eric Williams: What of it?
Leon Chronos: I need to take it with me.
King Eric Williams: (Seriousness now of his face)... You know I love you like a son Leon, but I will not be exploited.
Leon Chronos: (Kneels)... I meant no such thing, the demons have already stolen our Voidstone and yours might be next.
King Eric Williams: I'm perfectly capable of protecting my Voidstone, unlike Augustus who lost his. Why do you think the Voidstone will be safer in your kingdom?
Leon Chronos: Because I had a vision that proves that it isn't safe here.
King Eric Williams: So, you had a vision where my Voidstone was stolen? That is troubling.... Very well, I shall give you the Voidstone...
Leon Chronos: Thank you your majesty.
King Eric Williams: Wait, let me finish. I shall give you the Voidstone if you can prove to me that you can protect it this time.
Leon Chronos: What do you want me to do to prove my worth?
King Eric Williams: If you can defeat all my Royal Guards, I will give you the Voidstone.
Leon Chronos: Very well, I accept the challenge.
King Eric Williams: That's my boy! Always so prepared for a fight! But you know, It won't be easy. (The king warns)
Leon Chronos: I may not be your son, but today, I'll make you proud. (Leon tells him with a smile)
King Eric Williams: (Smiles) I'd love to see you try.
Leon has challenged the most powerful people in the Soul Kingdom, and he's now facing the Royal Guards in an enormous arena.
Reaper (Platinum Ranked Mage And Female Leader Of The Royal Guards): Leon, you dare insinuate that you can beat not just me, but all of the Royal Guards? Just know that your defeat will be excruciatingly painful. (She threatened as she stands with her comrades)
Leon Chronos: I may not know all of you very well, but trust me, I'm not going to lose. (Leon says confidently)
King Eric Williams: Oh and Leon! You can't use your EON in this fight! (The king yells, informing Leon of his terms)
Leon Chronos: Huh? (Leon says with a look of shock on his face, as he realises that he's probably going to lose)
