There are two main types of Dark Beasts, the Animalistic dark beasts, and the Humanoid dark beasts. Both types have an Alpha, Omega and Beta form, with the betas being the weakest, and the alphas being the strongest by far.
The Animalistic type dark beasts tend to be more vicious, and of course wild in nature. But that makes them somewhat easy to read and predictable to some degree.
The humanoid dark beasts on the other hand, are on a whole other level of dangerous. Not only are they stronger, they're also very intelligent, with some being able to dominate the minds of their lessers, using them as pawns to hunt down and weaken strong curses, just enough for the humanoid to be able to take them down for good.
Humanoid dark beasts truly are deadly creatures, but there is one curse who is able to use some of this incredible power, by becoming one herself, and her name is Morph.
