Lance Grey is still in the dungeon under suspicion of being a Demon. Lora Magma has explained Lance's power to the New Mages and they now understand it was not his fault.
Everyone except John Crest and Nina Willow go to Lance's home to see his mother Elizabeth Grey. The New Mages knock on the door, and Lance's mother opens it. She knows Lora and is happy to see her after so long.
Elizabeth Grey: Lora, is that you? What are you doing here... And with friends. (Elizabeth said, referring to Sebastian and Rex)
Sebastian Tempest: Ma'am we're friends of Lance. (Sebastian said nervously)
Rex Striker: Yeah, from the academy. (Rex adds)
Elizabeth Grey: Oh welcome, that means Lance is with you. Where is he? (She asks with a big smile on her face)
Lora Magma: That's why we came. Lance is in trouble Aunty. (Lora tells Elizabeth, removing the smile from her face)
They go inside the house and explain everything to Elizabeth. She doesn't take it well and strikes a table in anger.
Elizabeth Grey: Those Bastards! My son trained day and night to be good enough to join the Academy! And this is how they treat him! Framing him with this nonsense!!!(Elizabeth yelled in anger)
Sebastian Tempest: With all due respect. The power Lance possess is unlike anything we've ever seen, he was like a monster.
Lora Magma: Lance told me that he had this power ever since he was little. He said he used it to kill a Magic beast that attacked him once. (Lora explains to Elizabeth)
Elizabeth Grey: I remember that day... He was so scared (Sobs)... My son is a good boy, he wants to be a Mage that saves lives, he's not the monster you're all describing (Elizabeth explained sadly, before wiping away her tears)... Those Nobles think they can bully my son just because he's strong! Well I'll show them! (Elizabeth said before leaving the room and storming out of the building)
Rex Striker: What is she going to do? (Rex asks)
Lora Magma: I don't know, but we'll help her. (Lora declared)
Elizabeth rallies commoners together, people who know Lance were shocked by the accusations against him, and march towards the castle in anger. The king sees the small army of protesters and wonders what it could be about.
He watches from a window and can hear what some of them are saying, "Lance Grey is innocent"(One yelled)... "Don't they have a guy that can bring people back from the dead, isn't that demonic" (Said another)... The protesters all say the same thing in their own way. Lance Grey is innocent.
Afterwards the Trail of Lance Grey had begun, and Leon is impatiently waiting for Valeria to arrive, hopefully without Blast. Blast is way too competitive, at first it was healthy but now it's just annoying. He continuously obsesses over defeating Leon in a fight, and proving himself as a "Real Man" who deserves to be No 1.
Valeria Susano: Hey boss, we're over here! (Valeria called out from far behind Leon)
Leon Chronos: Oh thank goodness, you're here... (Leon said In relief, before noticing who was by her side)
Blast: YOU!!! (Blast yelled as he clenched his fist)
Leon Chronos: (Sighs) And, you brought Blast. (Leon said, expressing his annoyance)
Blast: Leon Chronos (Blast said before pointing his finger at Leon)... Fight me!... I have trained vigorously after our last bout, and this time I will best you! (Blast yelled as he flexes his muscles)
Valeria Susano: Isn't he glorious. (Valeria says as she gropes Blast's large muscles)
Leon Chronos: I realise that you two are dating but. Gross. (Leon said, uncomfortable from the sight)
Valeria Susano: What can I say, the heart wants what the heart wants. (Valeria said confidently)
Blast: I'm not here to discuss my love life with you Leon! I'm here for a fight! (Blast yelled with his fist creating miniature explosions)
Leon Chronos: That would have to wait. Valeria the reason I called you here, is to help my student. (Leon said, making it clear to Blast that he doesn't want him here)
Valeria Susano: Oh yeah. What did he do to get himself into trouble with the king?. (Valeria asks)
Leon Chronos: Well... He transformed into some kind of monster. Destroyed the Atlas training camp. Attacked his fellow student. Cut off my fingers. And Stabbed me in the leg. (Leon tells her bluntly)
Blast: Wow, he sounds strong! Let me fight him! (Blast said excitedly)
Leon Chronos: Are you crazy?! Wait what am I saying, of course you're crazy! (Leon yelled)
Valeria Suasno: (Thinks for a moment) A crazy genius!... Leon are you sure this boy is innocent? Are you sure he's not some kind of Demon? (Valeria asks, expecting an honest answer)
Leon Chronos: One hundred Percent sure. (Leon replied)
Valeria Susano: Then they might be a way to help him. (Valeria said in a conniving manner)
The Trial of Lance Grey goes on. Nina Willow and John Crest serve as witnesses and give detailed accounts of what happened to the King. Lance is not at the Trial because he was just too dangerous, and might attack the King.
After listening to John and Nina's testimonies, the king surprisingly calls for another witness, Lora Magma. Lora arrives and gives a spiteful looks to both John and Nina.
Lora Magma: My King I have something to confess. (Lora said, and the King signalled for her to speak)... I am not the one who defeated Soultaker, It was Lance Grey. (Lora confessed)
King Augustus Brave: Why did you lie young lady. (The king asks)
Lora Magma: Because of this, I was scared of what people would do if they discovered Lance's power, and I was right. No one believes Lance is good, you all think he's done kind of Demon, well that Demon saved my life! I thought I was a goner, but even after the Soultaker took his soul, Lance still protected me.... He still saved me. (Lora told the king with tears in her eyes)
Nina Willow: I'm such a fool (Nina whispered to herself)... My king! There is something I'd like to confess as well! (Nina yelled boldly)
John Crest: What are you doing? (John asks)
Nina Willow: Let me speak!... When the beasts attacked, Lance was the one who came to save me, he was kind... And cool, and in protecting me he died, I watched him die for me... And Instead of thanking him, I'm prosecuting him. (Sobs) Lance Grey is not a Demon your majesty, he's my friend. (Nina spoke softly)
King Augustus Brave: I got that from the crowd outside the castle, but nonetheless that boy's power is too unknown. As the King it's my duty to protect this kingdom, and releasing someone so dangerous is not the best idea... So until Lance Grey's power is determined, he stays in the dungeon. (The King declared)
But suddenly the doors of the Trial room are blown off, and Blast entered.
Blast: Good Afternoon My King! (Blast yelled, greeting the king respectfully)
King Augustus Brave: Blast! What is the meaning of this?! (The king yelled)
Leon Chronos: I am so sorry My king, If I knew he'd blow off the door, I would have opened it myself. (Leon apologises as he enters, fixing the door with his Reverse spell)
Valeria Susano: My king, we have found a way of proving Lance Grey is not a Demon. (Valeria said as she entered dramatically)
King Augustus Brave: And what way is that? (The king asks)
Valeria Susano: A fight! (Valeria stated with a smile)
