The High Dark Curse known as Scavenger was running on rooftops, following the scent of blood that was coming from one of Lance's friends. The former Dark Hyenas knew the scent of all of Lance's friends, so that it would be easier to find them in times of trouble.
The scent of all the friends had been picked up by Scavenger, and he knew that they were all at the same place, due to how strong his sense of smell was. But mixed with the scent was the distinct smell of blood, they all seemed to have been injured and bleeding, but one in particular had lost a lot of blood, making their bloody scent overpowering.
Scavenger (The High Dark Curse): If I can get there on time, I could save her. Even if it means giving everything I've got. (Scavenger thought as he raced to the location the scent was coming from, getting closer with each huge leap)
