Magic Beasts have been a threat to humanity for a very long time. No matter how many of them humanity slaughtered, they would always regain their numbers eventually.
This was because of Dungeons. You see Dungeons were underground cave systems which had the perfect conditions for Magic Beasts to breed. These Dungeons were often extremely hard to find, and even harder to clear of monsters, but if a Dungeon was cleared, it harboured a treasure trove of magical crystals and gems. Which humanity used to make their magic equipment and weapons.
Became of this Dungeon mining became a very profitable business, but just like with all businesses, it was full of risks.
The Nameless Guild's Adventurers were now on a Locomotive, speedily making their way to the Dungeon site. None of the Mages knew the client, except for Lora Magma, who knew the name Grant Silver well.
